Regarding The Syrian Rebels Straight from the horse's mouth http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_Syrian_Army The Free Syrian Army is moderate, secular and backed by the United States with weapons and training. The FSA has been described as a proxy of the United States. In recent months these weapons have included advanced American made BGM-71 TOW anti-tank missiles.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/06/14/america-s-allies-are-funding-isis.html >The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), now threatening Baghdad, was funded for years by wealthy donors in Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, three U.S. allies that have dual agendas in the war on terror.
An article from July 2014 tying FSA to ISIS. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2014/07/08/US-Backed-Moderate-Free-Syrian-Army-Factions-Join-Islamic-State-Terror-Group >Reports coming out of eastern Syria Monday revealed that several factions within the Syrian opposition force known as the Free Syrian Army (FSA) have pledged services to the Islamic State, the group formerly known as the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS). Sources and eyewitnesses said that the FSA has handed over its weapons to the Islamic State in large numbers.

>>35712414 >Russia is faced with losing a buffer nation and warm water ports among other resources When I'm a billionaire, I'm buying the entirety of Novorossiysk and turning it into an international port city, fund some bullet rails to Ukraine and Moscow, be total bros to the Russians and pay all my taxes.
Why? Because why shouldn't Russia have a Mediterranean/Black sea port?
I've been told I'm a "useful idiot" for Putin's agenda, whatever. I just don't see why we always assume everyone the Americans don't like is someone who shouldn't be liked, personally I don't like American influence on my country either, I don't like how my government can be sued by American corporations, I don't like how America polices our internet for their civil torts. I don't like how marijuana is illegal and continuing to be cracked down on, even though American states are beginning to legalise (but American feds have to be tough on crime... so they bully our state police). No one likes Americans except Americans, just leave us all alone, why do you hate our freedom?
So, we have this road trip destination called Nimbin. Remember, the eastern states of Australia were colonised around the same time as you guys had cowboys and indians and the last of the pioneers were settling down. That means, just like you guys have a few weird, lawless towns, we have a few weird, lawless towns.
Anyway, Nimbin isn't lawless, except marijuana is completely and utterly not enforced there, it's only enforced as per every other drug law (no smoking under cover, no public intoxication), the local police will arrest you if you don't offer them some. So what did the NSW state police do? They started to crack down, they took a few kilos of marijuana and called it a "win," saying they want to change the image of Nimbin. Why do we even have marijuana laws? Because your government said so. Why are marijuana laws still being enforced? Because your feds remind our state police that our two nations have a treaty.
Australians don't like American intervention in our nation, I think the wiser amongst us can understand why Russia hates you and why Syria is scared of you.
>>35715193 except that it is real and it has just changed names/management. >>35715245 would you like to expand on what ideas and points of OP's are shit? >>35715505 well you can try to debunk some of the videos, or post counter info?
jesus, guys it looks like we got some JIDF newbies on our hands. you'll need to articulate some more harder responses then these, boys.
>>35715079 Yourself? I mean...you aren't replying to a specific poster here.
I'm not sure I believe in the OP's every point. I'm on board about Syria, but I don't see how Ukraine would be important to achieving Obama's policy goals (remember - he stopped the installation of an ABM shield in Poland, and promised Putin he'd have more leeway to work with him "after [he] won reelection in an infamous open mic incident in 07.) I think that there is some fishy shit going on in the Middle East though, and would like to see more on the supposed American or Euro involvement in Ukraine, though. That's why I'm using this post to bump.
Overall i must say though that I think that the Ukraine is a landgrab by Russia; not really sure how you can say the US is instigating the conflict. That sounds a bit tinfoil to me. Can I get links to non-Russian semi-credible sources?
Why Ukraine? Because do you remember when Russia threatened to go to war with the U.S. if Syria was invaded? So the U.S. Intelligence Community kick started a revolution in Ukraine to distract and tie up the Russians. Now that the Russians are tied up we are going back after Syria.
This is not the first time the American intelligence agencies have been involved in toppling governments for their interest, it should come as no surprise.
>>35715183 Maybe we want a pro-western government in control of all that juice Maybe the bankers in charge of the US and other countries don't like that Assad is anti-central bank Maybe it's all a plan to destabilize an enemy of Israel in preparation for conquest, divide and conquer Maybe the world is jealous of all that beauty
>>35716603 It's plausible. I'm not going to say I believe it 100% but it is very certainly possible. I guess I have resistance to the idea because I have sorta been rooting for the Ukrainian nationalists - I saw the video where they got shot to death in the streets by pro-Russian scum. In general I don't trust Putin and believe that he will do basically anything to subjugate Ukraine and its people, a majority of whom don't want to be part of Russia.
I don't think that gives the US an excuse to intervene though. Bumping. Good thread OP.
How does Benghazi tie into all of this? Honestly, the fact that Benghazi didn't get Hillary's state department and Obama investigated directly is VERY, VERY telling. Think about it - a top US diplomat was assassinated on 9/11 during an election year and It was swept under the rug by the media/the government.
Was this to cover up the weapons transfers to rebel groups? Was Chris Stevens running guns to terrorists?
Keep in mind that there are no "good guys". calling out the U.S. government on its shit doesn't mean you eat up Putin's
There are more than 2 sides and you don't have to take any, the best approach IMO is to take a well informed (not "I dont care #YOLO" ) Neutral stance, something this country hasn't done in a looong time.
so all hopes for some weirdo backfire, and american civil war which somehow destroys the federal reserve / petrol dollar / debt.
why doesnt china and russia take a page from american tactics and make some false flag attacks within america .eg. ammerican troops attack civilians and round up some for fema camps ? ? inciting a civil war ?
I have nothing really to add to your posts. Everything relevant has been said. Nice pics by the way. :^)
Maybe a question. You seem to be more knowledgeable than me. How much longer do you think will Russia play along with this circus? America has destabilised a big part of Russia's underbelly in the last 10 years, but now is the first time they are actively pushing towards Russian military sites (Ukraine/Syria).
What do you think are possible long term outcomes? Please be as detailed as possible.
Looking for a dl link for the book mentioned, so far I only found it in russian. Interestingly, it appears on this CIA recommended reading list called "The Intelligence Officer's Bookshelf", along with another from the same authors called Spies Against Armageddon: Inside Israel’s Secret Wars
>>35712414 Thank you based OP, this is how you /pol/. Keep it alive and add to the sticky as more is revealed!
We are being tricked into consenting to yet another war of conquest. We were too slow to do anything about the last false flag operation, lets spread the word on this one before it snowballs out of control.
The more people know the more difficult it will be for the evil individuals who profit from this.
>>35723139 Nothing to do with official government propaganda shillfag.
The book is about the history of Israeli secret service, written from the viewpoint of justifying their actions morally.
The fact that the CIA advises its agents to study it is a good indicator that it contains useful information and that we should do the same. In fact I think I'll see what else from that list I can get my hands on.
If any anons out there are better at finding books than me, the one with the ISIS=Israeli Secret Intelligence Service thing in it is called Every Spy a Prince: The Complete History of Israel's Intelligence Community
>>35723048 I do not disagree that there is foul play involved with the whole ISIS debacle and a bigger agenda behind it which only time will tell. I suspected foul play ever since the sudden announcement of the "arab spring".
But it sounds stupid why would Israeli intelligence use the acronym ISIS. If you wanted to craft a bunch of baddies it would be obvious to try and make their identity as distinct as possible without leaving any trails behind.
The reality of the situation is I do not know what on earth is going on, but I am fairly skeptical and sense something fishy has been going on not just related to involvement in arab nations but internally as well going back all the way to the first world war where plenty of movements started shaping up and taking place leading to the present.
I am curious to see how this all unfolds and what happens next.
Afghanistan, Iraq War, Iranian election protests, the Arab Spring, and this new war: is it all connected? Is USA deliberately bringing turmoil and instability to Middle East? How would they benefit from this?
