To be honest what I expected to be able to do was pretty much about being helpful in recruitment, information campaigns, joining in meetings, be part of demonstrations and debate and helping in public activities. All those things require, at least for me, to believe in what you are saying and supporting. Hard to be a believer if you are unwelcome.
