A limited rebublic of the metrocratic elite is the best system of government, what we would call today one party rule but has always exsisted. One party rule (done right) is not a dictatorship, a limited group of the most imformed and interested people vote on the key issues and on who takes state and beaurcratic control, To even be eligible rise to the top positions you have to be working in the party for 20+ years, learning how things work, learning about policy, what's working.
This is also how England was run for a very long time during its prime, where the Lords/peers, who were also the most educated formed a limited pool of the elites and before them it was the fiefdom lords, this very limited pool of the most informed actors voted on the leaders and key government office holders.

Okay, not really. If the numbers support it then you can make this claim. They chimp out when it's done with regards to race however.

This lead me to have a fun thought; what if a lot of us complained about this definition, calling it tendentious? Throw in a little something about steering the discussion and implying that you can't be sexist against men.. I doubt their brains could comprehend this logic.

My guess would be that Macron wants Libya, Italy, France and other EU states to cooperate in "rescuing" migrants off the coast of Libya, then bringing them all into camps run by France and other EU states. There these migrants who were rescued and all other migrants asking from elsewhere, could put in their asylum requests.

So far, so good, the question I have is whether there is then some type of quota how many people can come to the EU. If the whole thing is unlimited, this would not work at all. But if there is a limit, how do they decide who can come and who can't? Also, how will France make sure there won't be 200 million people coming to these Libyan hotspots all claiming asylum?

Anybody in the know can shed some light on this? Why is Macron saying this should be set up "this summer", if this is completely impossible to set up within the next 12 months?
