This is a pretty concise and accurate read on the current political reality of the US. Identity politics, largely popular on both sides of the spectrum, is completely individualistic, and is largely unhelpful for addressing actual systems of exploitation. Its only real use is identifying and cataloguing the effects of these structures. This is true for "sjw"s and "white nationalists" alike.

This board is a great example of that. All people are capable of talking about is cultural "degeneracy" and autistically googling swedish rape statistics. You see basically no discussion of policy because not only do people not understand it, but GOP policy is extremely unpopular. The democrats have choked out the leftist wing of their party with a full throated embrace of neoliberalism, which lacks a coherent political message, so all you see are both sides bitching about culture with absolutely no ability to change any of the systems of exploitation that actually effect their day to day existence.

The only hope is the recent explosion of popularity leftism is currently experiencing. Every group is exploited in some way, but workers are the only group who possess the collective power to do anything about it.
