So I've got this Mechwarrior Shadowcat Pepakura file that I want to print out in my new 3D printer; is there any way to turn Pepakura files to some standard 3D format, like .stl?
I've looked for the same file online, and the only website that has it as a 3D model expects $150 for 5 downloads.
Here's the .pdo, if that helps.

Can't you just open it in pepakura designer, export it as an .obj then convert it to .stl

Didn't know that was an option. Thanks man, I'll give it a shot.

Just remembered you need Keycode to export in Pepakura Designer - bastards.
Anyway I converted the file to .stl

Absolutely fantastic, thanks man. With your permission, I'll upload it to a couple of 3D filesharing websites for free, so others don't have the same issue I did.
I'll also post pics of what I make with this.
hmmm....

I'll have to give it a try, I worked in a printshop and made a half dozen pepakura mechs (at about 10 hours a pop). Now I've got access to this 3d printer but this seems like a really easy conversion!
