Realistically, what are the advantages of this piece of shit?
>Expensive (a few hundred dollars off of being able to buy a FF camera)
>Fixed lens
>Dust magnet which means you'll have to throw away your expensive camera since it's impossible to clean
>No viewfinder
>Shit in low light
>Pics at 1600 iso+ look like shit

Why would anybody buy this over a DSLR/Mirrorless camera?
Why not just buy a top of the range APSC size camera and throw an 18mm lens on it. Tada, you now have a Ricoh GR II that is probably sharper and actually works in low light and doesn't shit itself the moment a piece of dust blows into it.

Only advantage it has is >muh stealth which is nothing.

I fear this isn't even a final form
I fear all gearfaggots that leave their containment thread(s) will soon start making separate threads just for their specific autistic screeching about manufacturer x over y, lens s over t, format, model, sensor size, number if dials, filters, everything, everything you can sort on when you buy a camera online, there will be an autistic screeching thread for it
It won't be long til we see bickering about tripods and bags
>>
>>3148263
well i don't think there will be any final form
>>
Hey faggots, give me an apsc mirroless + prime lens combo that is quite """pocketable""". a6000 + pancake 20 2.8 is not as sharp as the gr lens. smegma 19 2.8 is quite long desu.

Spoken like a true armchair fagtographer.

The rx100 is a clever toy. Fucker takes 10 seconds to wake up and extend and can only be shot full auto with EC.

It is fine for still shit.

Fits in your pocket.
(and no, MILC's don't fit in your pocket with a lens attached).
>>

>smaller sensor

Not him but the smaller sensor is compensated by the faster lens.

It is expensive, yes, but it also has an electronic viewfinder and very good video capability which IMO justifies the extra cost.

I do agree on ergonomics: they are utter shit.

The ability to prefocus is a huge one.
The AF isn't so good in bad light, but snap focus and being able to toggle between 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 5 meters and infinity makes up for it and much more.

Not that

would know, he doesn't take pictures of things that move.
