Is there any value photography wise to buying old cameras? Such as buying film, restoring and using to take pictures, or are they essentially only worth ornamental value?

I suppose only if you know which historical models are best and therefore most desirable.
If you know what you're doing and what models are in demand, you can definitely make money. It's also really fun trying out tons if different cameras. Some I put a quick two rolls through and then flipped, others I enjoyed using and kept for a month or two before flipping.

M8, if you have a place to buy broken makina w67's from, and you can fix them, you'll be able to buy a gf in no time.

Well if you really want to shoot film top drawer medium format will still be good. But there is no point shooting film if all you are going to do is scan it and put it on flickrstagram or what-have-you. Shoot film, make prints, hang on wall. Forget the internet

Nice finds. The safari version looks cool. Did you find those all on the cheap?
Flipping them works if you find the right camera at the right price. Not all old cameras are worth money, but if you find premium point and shoots (contax, yashica, etc) you can make some serious money.
I'm usually on the lookout for things, but usually end up keeping them for myself.
