I accidentally touched my cameras sensor with my finger and now i can see there is a large fingerprint right in the middle of the sensor.
How do I clean it off or is there anything I can do to fix it?
>>2758248
apply brasso and clean it gently with a piece of wool.

Kaleidoscope glas. How uncreative do you have to be for not coming up with that by yourself when looking at these pictures? Please kill yourself and don't post here anymore.
Do you agree with this list? I think its the most sensible article on the subject i have encountered. Tells is like it is.

This reads like it's been written with a heavy emphasis on SEO for hits.

Seems that Hasselblad are gonna start making cheaper consumer grade cameras. "Cheaper" in this case means 4000+ euros but they dont state what the final cost will be and there's no detailed information.

Could I please get some thoughts / critique on this? This picture was mostly just taken for the visual appeal. I'm a pretty amateur photographer, as you can see, and I was hoping to practice with comparing the program and auto mode, and practice using natural lighting as the only source of light.

It's off balance on the left, unflattering to the breast, and confusing with the weird looking... shirt?
It's not absolutely terrible, but that's because it's really not... anything.
>>2756938
Covering her face certainly makes the image mysterious, I'm not too hot about the fabric you chose though. Silk would make her look like a priestess of the Delphi Oracle. Using a not even properly unfolded towel shifts this image into the trashy BDSM area of the palette, objectifies her in a disrespectful manner.
She has saggy tits. Ask her to pop her chest improve it, or ask her to cross her arm across her chest, it would make a more interesting angle and definition to her arm than a well diffused tube (which it is right now).
The pic would benefit from harsher light source / more contrast too.

Thank you. How is the left off balanced?
I do have to agree though, this was just a quick last picture in the middle of us beginning to put everything up.
Recent photo thread. Can I get some legitimate critique? I've been practicing for a few months now and I'm hoping I have a more unique style.
I focus on still life, and present them in a way that no one really ever thinks about in their day-to-day life.

Hey /p/
Due to an accident I cannot do my job, but I still have to earn money, so I'm looking for ways to work from home. Thing is I'm pretty good at retouching portraits and I love doing this. Question is: Is there a market for this? Are there professional photographers who don't want to do the retouching and are willing to outsource this?
Keep in mind that I'm from eastern europe, where average pay is 2$/hour. So if I can make any more than that I'm ok with that. So if there's a market for this how do I find clients?
Thank you for your help guys!

You're definitely overdoing it, even for some ex-Iron Curtain locale. The edited version looks like the kind of doll you see wearing clothes in a clothing store, but it's got a face and everything.
The nose did not need to be any narrower. The skin didn't need to lose its redness (FYI, red means wet in the panties, hence makeup such as rouge). Same for the hair. The eyes didn't need to be bigger, but you left the red bits in the inside corner of the left eye regardless. The eyebrows (and eyelashes, if not so much so) didn't need to be perfect and uniform, that looks artificial.
Boosting the pupils was a good idea, but not that much. Airbrushing the hands was also a good move, but again, not that much. Fixing the tooth was also a great move, as was removing the blemish under the right nostril.
Should've left more minor imperfections in, is what I'm getting at.

manual lenses are for pros who know what they want, and who have a clear artistic vision.
auto lenses are for cückolds who use digital and are afraid of missing the shot on their cats yawning.
What about the camera is causing it to display the flickering lights in my studio as rainbow colors? Does the chip pick up other wavelengths? /sci/ wasn't much help

So I am in a B&W film class and our assignment requires us to depict texture. Only thing is it is winter time in Michigan, so not much organic subject matter to work with. Any help/ideas/influence would be greatly appreciated.
The texture of snow.
I guess, but taking a close up of snow is kinda boring IMO. I was shooting snow and ice yesterday, started breaking the ice to show sharp and smooth and it looked okay, but I'll need some more for certain.
took this 2 years ago.. something like this might fit the requirements

>Nikon Singapore posted anannouncement on its Facebook page yesterday, congratulating a photographer named Chay Yu Wei for capturing a perfect shot of an airplane framed by a ladder in Chinatown.
>Photographers quickly pointed out that the photo is clearly the result of editing, and sarcastic comments soon flooded the post.
Apparently, the photographer claimed he was lucky that the plane showed up just in time for the photo.

Was this Nigga nigga an inheritence baby or what? Even if that Phantom shit did NOT sell for 6.5millie and has NOT sold an almost half billion worth of prints this nigga owns 20 million dollar houses and like 20 art galleries or some shit.
>>2756080
He's talented but not exceptionally so. I know some 14 year old Instagram landscape photographers that could be on par with him if they had the capital for travel and gear
Shrewd businessman
Peter Lik, like Uncle Terry, like most successful photograhers, is all about marketing, sales and networking.
Financial success in photography has very little to do with talent, and is mostly about establishing a brand and making people want your work. Or want to work with you.
Peter Lik isn't horrible, it's tough to do really large work. If you haven't been to one of his galleries, I highly recommend it. Get up close and personal with some of his large prints, the quality of the print and framing is off the charts.
Are there better photographers overall? Totally. Do they matter. Not at all.
