You guys got some Information about the Sony a7 Mark III? Like one of your dads works at nintendo and told you some infos?
My dad works at Sony
And the a7iii will feature a 100mp sensor
Carpal tunnel inducing controls
Horrible banding issues
No AA (shit)
Poor two axis Ibis
5fps burst with shudder
No lenses thanks to nex
And it came record for 20 minutes before overheating, and improvement over the a7ii and a9

Why are digital photographers so impatient? Isn't the original A7 good enough?
Enlighten me /p/
I've just taken 800 shots of a Rugby game and now I need to cut that down to the best ones.
What's the best way to look through them at full screen or close to it and delete the rubbish as I go?
>>3122854
Delet them all
Alternatively uploaded them all to a facebook album
>digipleb woes
>>3122854
They all look shit to be honest. How is it possible not to be the slightest bit discerning, and be more selective?
800 shots during a 80 minute game? Thats 10 shots a minute, were you even thinking what the fuck you were pointing your camera at?
>ctrl+A
>delete
thats my solution.
Post a photo or two or three. Everyone else will attempt to psychoanalyze your personality based on your composition style/subject matter/etc. Are you an introvert or extrovert? lads I just got a digital camera. Used to shooting film compacts. 3 user setting I can set. What settings do you guys use for yours? Care to share and maybe give reasons why? Thanks.

How does this hack keep getting work? (not Ozzy). and the most insane access. his stuff is terrible. Is he just a master at networking?
though, his blog is funny in just how brutally honest he is about musicians who are cunts
>>3122594
Technically his photo's aren't anything special. But it's the way he works with people and how he creates moments instead of having an awkward moment and a perfect photo of that.
>>3122594
>s he just a master at networking?
Never even heard of him but if he is shooting celebrities it's this.
photography isn't about images, it's about image.
What's up with the white balance in this photo? Everything is tinted yellow; the pages of the book are supposed to be pure white. The chair is supposed to be light yellow.
My camera doesn't have a way of manually adjusting the white balance, so instead I took a picture of a piece of white printer paper and let it use that as a reference. There are two sources of light: a lamp (which is almost visible behind the chair), and a set of construction lights (about 6 feet behind the camera)

So you can't manually set your white balance on a Nikon d3400?
>>3122547
That's correct, the only option is to take a photo of a white object and let the camera figure it out.
>>3122545
They look white to me, OP. Maybe you just see the world in yellow.

Has anyone used Tinder with the sole intention of finding free models? I want to practice portraits but I don't know anyone attractive enough to go on shoots with me.
I think this is what they call "wasting their time". You wouldn't go to a speed dating course to look for a model, would you?
>>3122040
I wouldn't consider it wasting their time if the bio is straight forward.
>>3122037
Seems like a waste of time. People are there for pretty specific reasons and modeling isn't one of them.

I've been taking pictures for about 2 years. I use a Nikon d3200 with the default lens and I know it very well. No matter what my photos always seem to look boring and flat. Pic related is after fucking with the curves in photoshop. Am I just bad at photography?

this photo was taken in unflattering light. typically you want to aim for the "magic hours" at sunset and sunrise, or at least have some interesting clouds in the sky
if you want contrast you need to shoot in contrasty lighting (shadows). but usually around midday, the shadows are too dark to fit within the dynamic range of the picture
don't even worry about editing riht now if this picture is typical. you need to study light
>>3121520
This is a bit boring. Ligh & sky weren't perfect, doesn't have extreme high res to see details, its not a sweeping ultrawide or panorama shot, and your post is not quite strong enough.
>>3121532
If I wanted to learn more about light how would I go about it

I thought that I would make a slightly different /vid/ post, one in which we can post and talk about some of our favorite /vid/ related tid bits or filming techniques from our favorite films / directors / or shorts.
One of my favorite bits of /vid/ related information comes from 28 Days Later which was filmed partially on a Cannon XL1, a consumer grade camera. This choice was made due to time constraints and coverage when shooting the streets of London early on as they only had about 20-30min windows to actually shoot.
This choice also allowed, or so I have heard, for more control over the shutter speed allowing for them to film the infected in a way that made them come off as much more jittery, this was also used filming the main character in the end to subconsciously link the infected with the savageness and rage in men.
>>3120164
Forgot to mention how I love the result of the Cannon XL1, objectively not a great camera but it was used in a great way. Just goes to show its all about who's hands it is in not just how good the gear is.
>>3120164
28 Days Later is pretty good evidence of how film is usually better than digital. Every time they update movies filmed on 35mm to Blu-ray they come out looking great, but 28 only comes out looking worse and worse
>>3120182
Really? I've never heard that before, ill look into it. Got any favorite filming facts about some movies yourself?

If it fails like the DL line Nikon is over.
>>3120082
Sadly they call it D850 instead of D820 because they know they will be bankrupt before reaching D890.
>>3120232
Good, that means nikkor glass will be cheaper.
I've got a D810. I'm set for camera bodies until that thing dies which should be a long damn time from now. I could give three shits less if Nikon goes out of business in the ensuing time.
