have someone ever used the services of a photography travel guide? someone who takes you to the best locations to take pictures. what is the fair price for the service? thanks for helping
>someone who takes you to the best locations to take pictures 5000 people have also done before
why bother
>>2829647
go by yourself. Guides have some rules you must follow, boring rules.
>>2829738
like he said, pictures everybody already shot, so why bother?
Here's the deal, get this travel by yourself, use your time to find some unique place and unique lighting, even if the subject is far known, you can take some nice photos.
Like this one I took in Torres del Paine, chile. It's a national park with thousands of people every SUMMER, so what I did? Find some other view and wait for another events to happen. I was in a forbidden place while snowing to take that picture, a guide would allow me to do so? Of course not, so why bother with guides? Do it yourself.
*guides can be a nice idea for first know the place tho

Soft light and lifted + tinted shadows. Do you see how everything that should be black isn't black?
Yellow lightbulbs?

i like that effect (black is not really black but gray)
So my friend has been getting really into photography and I've always been a real pyro so lately we've been taking pictures of me on fire/with fire. Pic shown is me with a molotov.
So the question is this: What do you guys think would be a cool fire picture to shoot? Get me some great ideas and we'll start burning.

Why do Nikon insist on making the front plate plastic these days? Even the D500 has this shit now... How much weight/cost does this really save??? Does anyone have any other explanation than Nikon just being a bunch of fucking faggots?

Pain in the dick to do wifi/nfc with full metal bodies. Also, fuck you for making a thread for this idiocy.
Because CFRP is stronk
Because it's easy to replace
Because you really didn't need that extra metal
Because metal would have been weaker for the same weight
Because it's easily replaceable
Because the future is now
Just keep using your D300 grandpa

I saw a guy walking around Belfast city centre with a babby Canon of some kind locked into what was basically a steering wheel.
Does that actually steady the camera at all?
It looked completely rigid so any shake in his hands was still going to be affecting it.
bend your knees, arch your back, flex your gutes, add some weight to your camera maybe, battery grip something like that
rigs do help with balancing the weight around, especially the steering wheel ones, most of them will still look handheld though just not terrible unusable mess handheld (see cloverfield)
>>2827440
Those rigs are sick. A lot of professionals use them. Big and heavy though.

I like the contrast between the old and new architecture layout. The colors are well balanced. But I would crop it about 20% to narrow the composition.
