Hi everyone,
I'm fairly new to photography, especially analog photography.
i was wondering if anybody would be able to help me, on a few of my pictures i am getting these real dark spots in the corners of them and i dont know what is causing it,
does anyone know how to stop this or what is causing it?
Thanks!

NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO.
It's film, not analog, you fucking cocksucker!
KYS millennial faggot
>>2912429
I'm not op but it is analog by definition.
I added a girl to model for me because I wanted to get to know her better and I knew she'd had modelling experience before. But I know nothing about photography.
I have about a week to learn everything I can and at least be a little aware of how to use a camera. I don't need to be taking awesome pictures (I told her I was just getting into it) I just need to be able to not look like an idiot. Thanks.
>>2912295
do you wanna go studio or daylight?
>>2912295
What setup do you have, OP?
>inb4 iPhone
Should I just kill my self? Pic related
nah, keep going
remember that you're doing this because it's fun
also chill your saturation slider
>>2912152
Don't do it anon.
Do something that makes you happy and then roll all that sadness into a big ball and just shove it waaaaaay down inside yourself and ignore it.
How does this make you feel?
ANGRY!!!!!!
FUCKING DELETE THIS SHIT RIGHT NOW!!!
Amazing
The fact that Apple managed to take the sensor from a medium format camera, and shrink it down to this size is absolutely amazing

This isn't very ergonomic.
how do i get my stuff to have this kind of dreamy look?

That photo wasn't shot with shallow DOF you mingus, look at the background.

I think you're functionally retarded.
I'm taking photos of a wrestling gig tomorrow. I've never done anything quite like it. Mostly only do still/model stuff as opposed to sports.
Any tips and stuff about what settings to use etc.?

Can you even use speedlights for wrestling?
Wrestler here. Unless the gig requires you to have pictures that are crazy beautiful don't worry about it. When I went to my state championships we just gave our stat girls (fancy name for girls we shagged after the match) shitty digital cameras and the pictures turned out fine. Don't over think it.
What do you think of the Sony α7 ILCE-7K?
You know better mirrorless?

???
Yeah
The canon 6d because mirror less meme cameras are a fucking joke
You might as well shoot on expired kodakrome film dumbass

I currently use the 24, 35 and 50 1.4 Art lenses and I particularly love the 24, but to be quite honest - they have no character. They are boring because of their technical perfection, which isn't quite perfect. The 50mm has horrible bokeh, I use my Canon nifty fifty in favour of it.
>>2911795
you cannot seriously be saying the Canon 50/1.8 has smoother backgrounds than any other lens. The Canon nifty fifty is absolutely awful.
>>2911809
Not the anon you replied to, but the nifty fifty does have smoother bokeh than the sigma 50.
Why are these old telephoto lenses with the weird barrel focus/zoom mechanism
So
Fucking

They aren't, or at least you're confusing the zoom mechanism with quality. The reality is, f/4 lenses are always going to be amazing. Slow lenses are always going to be the best in their class because fast lenses are always a compromise between refraction and correction. Slow lenses don't suffer from that duality, and are able to concentrate on a single variable (sharpness and optical quality).
It's like that old chinese proverb: "chase two rabbits, catch neither."
Those lenses are a fucking joke
Like please, never take pictures again
There's a pro wrestling event next month that I want to shoot, but I've never shot wrestling (or any legit fighting) before. Any tips? I'll be able to shoot ringside, and the only lighting in the place will be on the ring. I have a 5D Mark III.
>>2911661
Rev up that wide angle f@m.
>>2911661
what's your selection of lenses look like, faggot?
Can you use a speedlight?
>>2911668
Canon 16-35mm f/2.8, Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 II. My 24-70 needs to be sent in for repair.
Can't use speedlights or strobes, which has me slightly concerned because this place is going to be a freaking cave.

I've never posted on this board before.
What I can say about this picture is that I was in a kind of a little lake, then I saw these flowerish things so I just lifted my hand holding my camera and shot. The second shot turned out to be rather interesting in my opinion. I'm not into Lightroom so I didn't edit this except for resizing on Photoshop. Also, what quality do you use when saving a picture on Photoshop? 10? 12?

So is exposing to the right bullshit or what?
No. But most of the time, your DR will spread through your histogram anyway. So it's not always applicable.
If you shoot raw and avoid clipping it's not. But a newer technique is to shoot a burst of shots, align and average then. 4 shots will take you from a real ISO 100 to the noise levels of ISO 25.
>>2911503
That's not a newer technique at all.

I disagree with number 4. If you want to make money in photography sometimes you have to take pictures you don't like

honestly the best way to learn is through experience and id rather spend the money on traveling somewhere to shoot rather than photography school, better to major in something that actually requires 4 years of school to be good at

I mean, bartenders make great money, so I don't really see the problem with that.
