fuck you pusy
I'm looking for new hobby and I just wanted to know is it worth it or should i find something else to do???
>>2908876
Its great. You dont need to invest a shitton of time to get some nice results, but theres endless room to improve since the skill ceiling is very high. You can also just collect nice gear dont even need to shoot nice photos.
>>2908876
For starters i recommend an A7R mark 2
get a 23mm prime lens
a 50mm
and a telephoto zoom lens and you are set!
>>2908876
Nigga that's not how hobbies work
Does anyone here still shoot LF? I had to sell all my equipment a year ago, due to financial issues. I'm now looking to get some new gear. What I've had before was a Wista Field 8x10, which was ok and a Tachihara 4x5 which also was okay.
This time I will be going for either a shen-hao 4x5 or a Chamonix 4x5. Anyone here got experience with these cameras?
I seriously want a camera with axis tilt.
Here, have a shitty LF pic. It's 8x10 Ilford Delta shot at EI50 and developed N-2. This a picture of a darkroom print.
>>2908583
I'm in the process of selling my digital gear and going over to 6x17.
>>2908586
Is there any particular reason that you want to limit yourself to a panoramic format?
>>2908588
It's basically all I do anyway. Swapping over to doing it with a 6x17 will actually remove a shitton of headache (all the stuff that goes into doing a good digital stitch, from making sure that colors and exposure are exactly the same in the individual frames to having to deal with distortion in each frame).

I like this, but the way the smoke drifts hard to the left of the frame makes me wish the model was framed far to the right instead.

Honestly, I think Miki was probably one of the most talented posters ever. The best? I don't know. It's hard when so many people had so many different styles. That series of white photos that Miki posted, though, was fucking phenomenal.

Its on multiple cards. I've tried flipping the switch on the side of the SD card
I had to send mine in for repair. The entire card reader had to be replaced on mine. It was a bit over $300.

Why, was it painted in the mean time? Is the photo outdated but you don't have the time to take a new one?
>the line leading down to the general lawn/lane needs to straightened
>grass greener, general beautification as per your taste
False advertisement?
>Powershot G9 X
Shit camera AND no PS skills? Kill you're self my man.
Did you at least shoot this in RAW?
>>2914597
I didn't take this photo. LOL.
And noooooo, it's not for advertisement. And no, this is a current photo. This is for cover photo I will be creating for FB to reflect their general aesthetic. You don't have to make the grass green, if you don't want to. I just wanted the door to be red, just so the house stands out more. That's what I was 'ordered' to do. This isn't for real estate, this is literally someone's house, and that's how they want the photo. Also, we have shit weather here so it's a pain getting a proper photo with weather like that- the grass has been 'fixed' and even the line leading down the road has.
PLEASE HELP.
>>2914591
maybe you shouldnt have told your boss you could photoshop a photo for him
A photo I took in which I see many things. Its a randomly scrapped together piece of paper from an all night painting session. What are your opinions? Do you like it? Do you see what I see? Thank you.

Does anyone use it? For what uses and how do you like it?
What kind of extension do you use, Wifi SD card, that Nikon Wifi plugin thing etc...
If your camera has built-in Wifi how useful is it for you?
So... Wifi. Discuss.
useless shit
>>2914111
I use the hell out of it in conjunction with my fujifilm body that churns out flawless, ready-to-print-or-publish jpegs by the dozen. It's amazing to zap a photo straight to your phone. I've found it less useful for my Nikon.
I use an eyefi card with my Olympus, to beam pictures to my phone. They don't go as I shoot sadly, I have to sit down with both devices, start the camera, find the wifi on my phone, log in, then the transfer happens by itself. Sometimes frustrating if it doesn't automatically start and won't give a reason for why. Not very fast at all as far as file transfer speeds, but much faster than putting the sd card in the computer, then plugging the phone into the computer as well. Image quality is amazing for a phone screen even with just the JPEGs. Raw support seems to be a thing that's slowly moving into this niche workflow.
It would be better if the pictures would transfer as I was shooting, if they could do it over Bluetooth so that I don't have to disconnect my phone from the internet, and if raw support was improved.
Who here is making money off their photography?
Is it sustainable for you?
Wedding? Stock? Product? Portrait? Print? Real estate?
shoot portraits, product, dabble in stock, getting started in weddings.
when you start out don't worry about how good you are. like with anything else it's about your ability to sell. git gud as you go
Yes, by selling landscape prints. And yes while the income is very seasonal it does produce enough to make it through the year.
It's not easy by any means, but it's a pretty damn good gig once you figure it out.

Are you living 'comfortably' by your own definition?
