What's the best hasselblad setup (body+lens) for portraits?

I want one of the bodies that can take the attachable viewfinder thing (pic related). What is considered the absolute best hasselblad lens for portraits?

Thanks.

The 4/120 is the only Hassy lens I own.

I'd post examples but my garbage snapshits on garbage film with garbage processing and garbage scans wouldn't do it justice.

If portraits are your thing get an RZ instead.

Alright fuckers

What's the key to this indoor flash style? Is it just straight up direct flash & a VSCO lightroom preset?

Basically yeah

Bought a Canon 550d and an older tampon 18-200mm to mess with canon. Cost me £180 total, currently shooting with a d3300.

>Plan on selling my current equipment for £700 to get a 60d with equipment.

Good idea /p/? Or a stupid idea, what else could i do with the money?

hi /p/

I've gotten an offer to shoot a big party (600-1000) people and then doing an aftermovie.

I have plenty of experience doing event photography, however, I've never shot video before.

This gig would be my first "big" gig, so I'm assuming I shouldn't charge too much for the night.

Would I even be able to pull this off? I would assume shooting video, requires me to put at least two hours aside, just to do some nice footage. These two hours would be in the peak of the party, wasting my time to get actual pictures.

Thoughts? Should I tell him I can do the pictures, but not the video?

I have zero video oriented gear. I shoot with a Canon 80D and I have a stabilized zoom.

Pic semi-related.

>>
Just do pictures unless you have a buddy who wants to tag along and shoot video. Also he's probably going to want a pump up video with dubstep... So you're going have to edit it as well.
>>
>>3008149
I spoke to friends and researched it.
Offered them shooting an example aftermovie , seeing if it's in their taste.

It really doesn't seem that difficult after all.
>>
Its not really that difficult to shoot video, you propably could do it.
But really decide wich you want to shoot and give the other one to your friend or someone else, do not do both.

Not even once, you should have made movements straight after the release of the k5, everyone now knows it takes you too long to deliver anything.
>>

You probably didn't hear about the K-1 and the K-70 coming out last year and trumping all over landscape and studio cameras. Yes, an APS-C trumping and pissing over FF landscapers with a simple software utility of the sensor shift stabilization.
>>
>>3006811
K70 has nothing new, k1 was 4 years too late, you have no lens, ltd lenses are crazy soft.

Its fucking boring. Think of something interesting or pretty to capture.

Why did you take a photo of that building? Because it was there? Not good enough.

Why did you post it here? Because it somewhat follows the rule of thirds? Not good enough.

Think first. Take photos later. Don't just wander around your college campus like a lost child taking a photo every two and a half minutes.

>Don't just wander around your college campus like a lost child taking a photo every two and a half minutes.
There's nothing necessarily wrong with taking mindless snapshits. It's how you figure out for yourself what works and what doesn't. Just don't post them here expecting to be praised.

Slightly more interesting framing? Shame that the subject's pose is so boring. Waiting around for someone to take a nice pose seems to get you noticed more easily - and makes you feel weirder

This one has been cropped a lot, perhaps making it slightly more interesting. It seems that a lot street photography is luck. Being in the right place at the right time, because to have that running man in the right place is almost impossible through artifice.

I really like this lens (all though this is pure luck) because the DOF really helps to isolate the subject. Much harder to get it right when the subject's moving and the lighting's flat!

I'm confused about choosing either Sony A7 and Canon 80D. Both are pretty much the same price here.

well this thread is normally packed with sony shills who will tell you to buy the a7
So in advance of that, let me tell you about the 80d
>great video autofocus
>canon's colour science
>weather sealed
>ergonomically great
It doesn't have c-log, but you can download an equivalent. It has a mic jack, 1080p/60fps, the usual shit. It's definitely a very viable camera for pretty much whatever you want to do for video. Having said that, it doesn't do 4k and some places are easily impressed by shit like that.

I don't know enough to tell you about the a7, but I'm sure someone will come along and tell you why it's the greatest camera in the world.
