Any thoughts on Model Mayhem? Any of you guys used it and what did you think of it? I want to expand my portfolio a bet and thought that maybe the way to go
I think it's only big in the US, and I think the models are generally low quality.

bump for interest
uploading a few snaps I took last month back in Banff and Calgary.
Didn't had much time to travel, but I tried to use the best I can. Nice trip, nice food, and pretty slippery

Hello, guys.
I decide to mock up with my friends. I'm pretending that I just made a new tattoo.
I has made it on Photoshop and wanna know of you if that is pretty convincing or looks like a fake one.
Please, leave your oppinion
looks quite good honestly, but I think the horizontal lines should have a curve to them no? (red). and also the seams where the tat' meets your underoos doesn't look totally convincing (green). idunno, really good work overall.

Almost. Your skin should look a bit more red/swollen around the tattoo and where the tattoo is. I take it you've never gotten a tattoo, but your skin would be a bit irritated especially considering the filled in parts and the thick heavy lines (See picture)
>>3060383
>but I think the horizontal lines should have a curve to them no?
All depends on your body. If he's got a flat stomach, the line would remain straight so long as the artist tattooed it straight. A curve would only be there if the artist made it or if the person being tattooed has a belly that sticks out, morphing the shape of the straight line.
Here some skin irritation ^^
I've try not put too much

That's nice and all, what is the problem? How do I improve?
>>3060049
your picture is out of focus and uninteresting Its easy to take pictures of flowers and make them look good. If you really want to improve try harder subjects. Lighting is off too. Flowers usually look their best early in the morning.
Does anyone know how the photographers went about and created these shots? Saw it on /p/ a few days ago and it's been bugging me; theres literally nothing online about a setup for uv photography, only addons and makeup, pls respond
and this one?
>>3060023
This picture is from r/itookapicture. You might find more info there. Its the top post of the month.

UV paints, a blacklight, low aperture and (probably) an 18-50mm lens.
It's totally right that a nightclub photographre gets payed less than the DJ. If the DJ doesn't show up the whole party is ruined, if the photographer doesn't it's still fine.

okay. is anyone really disputing that?
Now that Sony has a 20fps 1/32000th shutter speed full frame backlit sensor camera with a mega buffer, dual card slots, IBS, better ISO performance, and more than 2x battery life, does that mean they will take over sports photography? Does this mean, date I say it, Canikon is finished and bankrupt?

why are Sonyfags so insufferable? why is there sense of self-worth so rapped up with a multi-billion corporation?
as a Nikon user I enjoy filling this board with Sony shitposts for the (You) power and look forward more months of Sony thread spamming outside the gear threads

I dont understand why people are objected to the idea of shooting in raw?? Surely you'd want to be able to make changes, retaining quality, after you've taken the pictures incase you've over or under exposed it?

Why does black and white film cost more to develop than color?
it doesn't
you can literally use one chemical and water to do it yourself for a fraction of the cost
>>3059474
It's not a standard process, each different film has different developing times so is done by hand instead of fed into a machine.
>>3059491
Thank you

It would make sense that he uses cheap film, given that he prides himself on his cheap cameras. Kodak Ultramax, maybe?
Anyone that says 4K video is a required for new cameras should be fucking shot. Meme video format that isn't supported by even most new displays and autistic gear fags rage all over the internet demanding it. Fuck them. ain't nothing wrong with future-proofing, my dude. it's really painful to go back to early youtube or dvd days when everything was in 480p or less, and it'll be the same in six-to-ten years when (not if) 4k is the de facto standard. There will also be fucktards at that point in the future as well saying that "HURR DURR 8K IS STUPID NO ONE NEEDS THAT RESOLUTION."
you're just too young and stupid to realize this.
>>3058835
Diminishing marginal returns. Unless you're shooting for a fucking feature film there is no reason for that resolution in video. The human eye can't differentiate between a 4K display at 28inches and a 8k display. The only difference is marketing. Fucking kill yourself my man.
This is the same shit that audiophiles with their magic rocks and floor risers and giant insulated cables believe they can hear. It's fucking marketing and you are a child for feeding the machine.
4k is nice for cropping senpai
