Sqr m comparison pu coated.fabrics are heavier, more vulnerable to abrasion and puncture.

Just buy dry bags for your gear and use a regular backpack.

But seriously when no one is doinh something (using 90l dry bag sacks) there's usually a good reason....

This pack, nice straps, 90L, and if I sprayed a can of clear flex seal on it the damn thing would be a raft. A can of flex seal is only like 16 oz so it wouldn't add too much weight.

I for one think using flex seal on just about anything would be fantastic.

Hyperlite Mountain Gear or Zpacks are waterproof. Hyperlite 4400 might meet your size needs. I own packs from both companies, they're great

Price speaks for itself, for durability the material doesnt look very strong and neither do the straps.

What's your opinion? Could you use this item for 10 years? Would it still be as effective?

oh and a tent, Zpacks Duplex. Waterproof, ULTRALIGHT, two person. People bitch about the price, but if you have a job it's not a problem

My Hyperlite would last ten years, the black material is fucking bombproof, hence the heavier weight. Not Zpacks though

You're not going to find a waterproof 90L pack. They don't exist.

Use a pack cover, and put your stuff inside of dry bags inside the pack.

There are dozens, and dozens of ultralight tents out there. You're not looking hard enough. Any good tent is waterproof. You may just need to seam seal it.

tent you could try tent + tarp if the terrain allows it. the trap will cover most of the rain so the tent will be able to deal with the rest.
