I snuck into a hospital and slept in a doctors office before. Wasnt a good nights sleep though because I was worried someone would come in.

Slept in bathrooms

Slept in open fields with nothing but branches to keep me warm

slept in public parks inside a cardboard box. Surprisingly the best nights sleep ive had rough. The box is comfy and has very good insulation.

Slept on a beach.

I can break into any building and sleep there, no problem, there is always a way in and there is always a quiet spot nobody uses.

People still pick up hitchhikers. Get a regional field guide and learn your edibles. Make sure you get a fishing license and stay in forestry areas unless want to end up getting free food and a warm place to sleep for 3-5 days.

It helps to be willing to do odd jobs to cover basic expenses, and replace gear. Make sure you've got decent gear. Sleeping under newspaper in an alley hungry isn't as much fun (presumably) as sleeping in a hammock at the lake eating fresh fish and blueberries.

Check out those micro houses on trailers. You could build one at your parents' place, then hitch it up and have a decent place to live as soon as you're parked. Then build your cabin, and use the tiny home as an in-law unit or rental so you can retire at 21.

Overseas is cheap. 2 months in India for 200 bucks? Easy. Airfare is only 300 if you are prepared to die.

In the US you can usually hunt/fish/forage for any food anywhere you are. Just be knowledgeable and legal. Huge country. Lots of extra meat.

Here's the thing. If you are planning on being "homeless" and wandering the world, you need to discuss spend your time preparing and reading. Not asking 4chan for tips. You are off to a bad start. And I think even you realize that you will never even leave your house to start this adventure. I've been homeless. It's not fun unless you really get it. Just stop.

That was my original idea. Behind everything. Then I checked out some guy on YouTube with a 14x14 solar cabin
I drew up plans. For a 14x14 cabin. As well as a 16x24 cabin

I can prebuild everything here for either cabin. And drive up. Spend one night in my truck and the next day throw up 4 walls and a roof. Tarp the roof for that night. And roof it the next day.

I've got close to 4 years of construction experience. And I like to think I'm half decent at what I do, not bad with a chainsaw and I have plans. For a huge wood stove. That would be great for heating a garage. Or even a house. If I took the time to set up some fans

Oh I live with parents. But I pay them rent. Etc, I try to help out since money is tight. Plus. Paying 5-700 a month is easier. For me than laying 900/a month. Anywhere else here because everything else is stupid expensive

Only thing I don't have is a college degree. So I'm working my butt off to get some land. And a home PAid off by the time I'm 25 then il have 5k max.(grossly overestimating ) A year in bills etc
And. I can make that in 3 months and take the rest of the year off. Or work more and buy toys

if i were homeless in an urban area, there's one thing that i would prioritize: having a clean outfit. combine this with a rack pack (a backpack with a T-shaped hole in it against your back) and you will have no problems food-wize. also when stealing it helps being white.
