>hey, we've got a decent product that does what it's designed for, but now we'd like you to make a cooler looking, but dumber version of it, to sell for a higher price

How much do they pay people to come up with junk like this?

>make more parts bright green
>add skulls
>add useless holes
>add false edge

I mean if you really wanted a cringey, green, tanto folder you can already get a Kabar one for $15....

A new trend I've seen is 'made with GERMAN™ steel®' on everything. Doesn't say whether it's carbon or stainless, doesn't say what grade or steel type. Just German and that's all you need to know because that one company made a good knife and my grandpaw said it was German so it's probably the best steel coming from Germany.

I don't mind the bright colors. Every time I set my camo Buck knife down in the leaves it takes me second to find it. Otherwise, yeah, I agree conpletely.

why do i recognize that archer on the packaging?
>>

German steel means it came from Thyssen-Krupp's factory in China.

that would drive me nuts

if it serves a purpose, bright colors are fine

neon green is easy to locate, and hopefully if someone spots it they'd be like "I doubt he's out on a killing spree with such an obvious knife"

They will think you're hunting for "Zombies"®

Bright colors are fine if you're a massive queer that likes to be noticed, the only thing worse is camouflage. Natural earth colors is where is at.

>Natural earth colors

natural colors easy to locate in nature....

I don't think so
>>
>>1097507
This. Wrapped some hot pink duct tape right near the handle of my machete because shit is impossible to see otherwise.
>>
Both non-military camouflage and "ZOMBIE" hunters are equally retarded.
>>
>>1096250
serious question, not really into knives, i just got some shitty folding knife for work, dont really use it for fishing, other than for cut bait sometimes.
but whats wrong with a kabar?
just cringy?
>>
>>1098140
how dare you!

>>1098145
kabars are actually not that bad; the dozier is an excellent folder, beater knife for $20-25 (solid lock up and decent blade material), and in a bunch of colors (get the drop point one), but tanto points are basically a meme....

I believe they were/are meant for stabbing, but who actually does that with a pocket knife?
I don't...

(at least they didn't put any zombie garbage on the neon green version)

for most things at work, a utility knife is fine for me...blades can just be replaced and if someone breaks it or screws the edge, no big deal

but I do also have a gas station knife for when things get really dirty (like cutting through dirt)

>Natural earth colors is where is at.
Until you drop something on the natural earth and you can't see where it's at.
