Hey /out/. What is the best way to avoid getting blisters when walking long distances? I got a large blister on my heel and I had to pop it as it was painfully building up pressure and hurt when walking. Is there a way to avoid this in the future? Thanks.

Look up hiking sock liners, they apparently are amazing. Haven't tried them yet but thru hikers on the AT swear by them
