Let's hear them.
Lady gets stung by a bee while golfing, goes to her doctor says to the doctor...
Doctor I was stung by a bee at the golf course
>Where were you stung?
Between the first and second hole
>Sounds like your stance is too wide.
>>1041056
>lady tries to make a joke
>doctor (presumably male) turns it back on her and makes a joke out of her joke
>women btfo how will they ever recover
The real joke is golf tho.
Isn't golf just out for people who don't go out to say they went out?
>Whats the step to change your life and go outside more often?
> I'm looking at starting soon since I'm buying a truck and I don't want to just end up sitting at home with the truck in the driveway

I would say if you are a social person, and are interested in the idea if this being a way you can meet new people, you should look into groups who go camping together. Maybe even connect with people on here who are vaguely in your area. Having someone reminding you of the upcoming camp is always good motivation.
If you prefer to solo camp, research some good sites and think about how awesome it will be to go check them out. If the lifestyle is really for you, you should be chomping at the bit to get out there, and once you go, those places will always be calling you back.
Yea I actually enjoy going outdoors but these days I'm alone and my brother is half way across the country so me going camping will be me alone out there..

get a doggo
I just got this out of a 5 gallon bucket of dirt from a stream in my yard. Is this good? I have no idea what I'm doing.
>>1040314
Certainly better than what I can get out of mine (which is nothing at all).
If you're not shitposting then yes that's actually pretty good. Are you using a sluice or just hand panning?
>>1040314
where are you?
was farming an improvement to humanity or a hindrance?
it seems to have just made us overpopulated
How are we overpopulated?

If you have to ask this question, please, Kill yourself
>>1040257
Hunter-gatherers didn't invent the airplane.
Does that answer your question?
I mean, I get that 1 bite can probably feed 10 new mosquitoes, but what else do they eat besides people?
It doesn't seem to matter how remote you go, there are thousands of them all over you in a matter of moments, which means there must be 100 000 of them in just a couple hectares.
They don't even see or think, just get drawn towards your CO2 breath or body temperature.
>>1040250
i try to only camp spring fall winter for this exact reason.
>>1040250
The more remote you go the worse they get. Try going into northern Canada in the spring. The black flys will swarm you like you've never experienced. Head nets with pants and long sleeve shirts are a must on our fishing trips
>>1040250
>what else do they eat besides people?
Mosquitoes live off of nectar from plants. Only the females drink blood, and thats only when they are producing eggs and need the protein and iron. They will drink the blood from almost any animal.
i just need something. im bored.

See how many pinecones you can shove up your butt.
I've found a new local walk , I can't wait to explore it. But I will wait till Autumn. What's your favourite walking season?
when all the bugs are dead. normally we have a nice period between october and march. last year we barely had a winter, though, so ticks are extremely bad this year.
Are we being raided by /b/?
Autumn and winter, nice crisp breezes and refreshing rain or snowy landscapes

Who /zooming/ here?
Looking to buy some waders. was thinking of just getting some cheap nylon's with boots attached.
Is this a good idea or should I save up for some neoprene ones?
Hey I really like the idea of urban exploring, but I'm not sure there's anything to explore where I live. Also how do I get my friends to go for it?
It's called e x p l o r i n g you got out and find stuff. It's just sight seeing if you go to places you know exist. Stop being lazy and get out.
www. uer . ca
site with maps of submitted abandoned sites and a good amount of them have reviews, as well as measures you should take for each location
also, just tell them about it. say "hey this shit's abandoned want to go look at it?" if they say no they are probably losers. i have never had an issue with it.
>>1038512
>having a guide tell you where to go and what to do there
this isnt a thread for urban sightseeing and tourism
Instead of debating this on /x/, I figured I should ask the experts.
You guys are out in the woods doing something all the time.
Have you ever seen a sasquatch?
Can you tell the story please?
No, I´m not American
And i´m not delusional
Bigfoot is literally just a hairy human

What's up this weekend /out/? I'm going to check out this spot and maybe go camping.
>>1034611
Heading to California tomorrow to go camping in the mountains for about a week. Haven't ever been on a big camping trip yet so this should be memorable.
Where's your spot at anon? Looks nice.
>>1034611
Nice spot there Anon.
Going on a hike with my fiancee tomorrow (pic related,) then going on a hike sunday morning with my best friend.
Free solo climbing is by far the most dangerous thing you can do in this life. It's stupidly dangerous.
>>1031172
slacklining without the safety line
>>1031176
i'm assuming you mean over dangerous routes? that may be close, but when you fall you can at least try and catch the slack line, climbing is you fall you die
>>1031172
>Free solo climbing is by far the most dangerous thing you can do in this life. It's stupidly dangerous.
Maybe if you are just random normie, alex honnold is one of, if not the best, climbers in the world.
So, I'm going hiking for a week and I don't like the idea of having to have a shit in the woods like a bellend.
What should I consume to keep myself going while avoiding the need to pump out turds?
I was thinking of eating milk powder with a bit of added water, since that stuff is fiber free.
Are you looking to keep your poops to the minimum or just not poop at all for a week straight?
>fiber free
Sure anon, go fiber free.
If you like the kind of poops that end up like glue. If you want easy, clean poops, you gotta get lots and lots of fiber.
So my friend saw this while he was out today. It was in Ruffsdale, PA. Rural town SE of Pittsburgh. What is it, /out/?
Bump. It's nearly six inches long he says
It's a Dobsonfly. They are chill no worries
>>1041107
Stay the fuck away from the females. They have much smaller jaws and can bite. But the males are harmless.
Tell me /o/ is this a meme
Or do switch blades really work?
>>1040652
Complete and utter meme, except for maybe a couple of really expensive quality made ones. Mainly used for mall ninja style sausage cutting and showing off infront of other chavs. I bought one really really cheap a couple years ago and keep it in my flat for possible intruders, because I wouldnt feel bad ditching it in a lake.
Then what do you think is a good cheap folding knife
>>1040655
>flat
>chavs
Where did you even get one in the UK?
