I mountian bike. Mostly around state parks in Central MA, but I've boke around the White Mtns a bit and some mountain trails in Australia.

I used to have a Trek 3500 but currently am riding my old Trek 820 because I had to move and now I'm a poorfag

Mountain biking is my life, I've got a 2014 kona mahuna hardtail, work great just waiting till I can afford a full suspension trail bike.

The only difference between backpacking alone and backpacking with others is that you have to carry all the gear because nothing is communal. Well, and you don't have to take care of anyone who forgot shit or have to listen to anyone whine.

I'm pretty sure they're more for like rescue. They're related to Labradors in sense they're amazing swimmers and good companions though.

For those temps it would just be nice for comfort. This one is supposed to weigh less than 2 pounds. Between it, a bivy sack and thermal underwear you should be nice and toasty.

Find a nest. Do some research on the birds mentality though. often times keeping them past a fledgling makes them demented. My suggestion is to let it go after adolescence and it will stay in your area and bring you cool shit.

The nests are huge , you just need to work harder at finding one.
They will use abandoned nests so if you find one , keep checking it.
You could also help repair one that is damaged and easy for you to get to.
It will not go unused for long.

I've only owned dead bird, and I use it literally everyday. My rampart pants are my tech pants I wear at work. They have outlasted all my 5'11's and other brands typically recommended in my industry. I've climbed hiked and done other things in them. I get its expensive but I'm very happy with the quality and ruggedness of the products. If your saying TNF is equivalent and quality that's one thing, I just don't know, if your saying dead bird is shit, then I want to know what you think is good quality.

My VE-24 is almost 30 years old. you'll find that TNF gear holds up well. Some of the the clothes may be shit that hipsters buy just for the label.
I'm curious what your specific backpack needs are; Sounds like an interesting /out/ story to tell. even so the sleeping bags & tents TNF makes are worth the money.
