I'm in a campervan (I have my wife's little brother with us or we would be in hammocks) and going clockwise around the island. We left Reykjavík and are currently at Varmaland Campsite, going to continue North and East.

We hiked one small area with a waterfall, wanting to do more hiking and hit some hot springs hopefully.

What do /out/ ???

Thank you, circling now. We have been driving a lot.
Decided to head West to Glama, took the long rout on 60 on the South side and I'm glad we did. Tons of beautiful waterfalls, mountains, and a tunnel 4 km long. We are now eating dinner at Isafjordur campsite, it's packed.

Thanks for the advice! Circling these on my map now!

A teen staffer at a Colorado camp fought off a bear after waking up Sunday to find the animal biting his head and trying to drag him away.

The 19-year-old woke up at around 4 a.m. to a "crunching sound" with his head inside the mouth of the bear, which was trying to pull him out of his sleeping bag as he slept outside at Glacier View Ranch 48 miles (77 kilometers) northwest of Denver, Colorado Parks and Wildlife spokeswoman Jennifer Churchill said. The teen punched and hit it and other staffers who were sleeping nearby yelled and swatted at the bear, which eventually left, she said.

The staffer, identified only as Dylan, was treated briefly at a hospital and released.

I live in CO and I want to know what this guy did to attract a bear into his camp.

Anyone know the best sunglasses for being outside? I spend a lot of time indoors and on computers.... in a few weeks ill be outside on a boat for long periods of time. Also would be nice for the sunny days on land. I want the most coverage and protection. Been through a few oakleys and really liked the lens on the last one but didn't like the form factor. I don't care if I look like I'm an old blind guy, I want protection.

I use the 3M Maxim with bronze lenses. Gives almost full coverage with UV blocking and anti-fog lenses. Also provides impact protection. Cheap, and comes from a reputable company.

Didn't realize 3m made sunglasses. Makes sence since I know their safety glasses. I'll have to take a look at what they have.

Lake Louise is decent as long as you start really early or really late on week days to avoid crowds. You can connect the 2 main trail and make it a loop.
No gear required, probably the least /out trail you can do but still pretty good views.

Hey /out/
I'm on vacation and I went to a Florida beach today
I fucked around in the water and the sand for a few hours and covered myself in sand for about 10 minutes(why not)
My question is:
Why the hell does my chest feel tight and sore?
Some shit to know:
>I'm under weight
>haven't been to the beach in a decade (but have swam in pools)
>No I didn't swallow any water
>I've been there for about 4 hours

Sun stroke? Could still be an 'eart attack even if you aren't a fatty-boom-batty. Could be an allergy to something in the sand or water, could have nothing to do with the beach whatsoever.

You shouldn't come to 4chan with medical questions anon.
>>
>>1072006
I can't help you but the feel you get probably is related to breathing some godtier ocean breeze. That or you are sore due to exercise.

>First time going to the beach in 10 years
Jebus Christ anon, were you in prison? As a beachfag it scares me a lot spending that time away from the ocean.

Btw enjoy your vacation.

Brecon Beacons is a mountain range in Southern Wales. There's a national park which contains a Dark-sky reserve (one of five).

Then you should get a bit more specific about what you are looking for. Like are you into mountaineering, camping, hut hiking, kayaking? You got gear? Experience?

The picture doesn't adequately depict the actual object I have in my possession however I will try to describe it as best as I can. The rock is dark in color some areas are near black with obsidian this would indicate it's of a volcanic nature.
I live close to a dormant volcano there's a small trail that has several pieces of volcanic rock most of which contain petrified wood copper light and imprints of trees and leaves. But today I found something interesting it appears to be a piece of rebar or similar metal object the rock appears very old but the rebar is recent and is surrounded entirely by the rock it doesn't appear to have been hammered or drilled and as the picture shows there is also some melted metal of some sort my questions day is what other possibilities could this piece of metal be how could it have been inside this rock?

So I'm a soldier that was recently stationed in the Hawaii island of Oahu. I was wondering if anyone here knew of some good /out/ spots on island. I can find a shit ton of hiking trails, but not very many camping or legit innawoods spots. I'm especially interested in somewhere I can set up a star course for land navigation.

There are still a few old guys who sail on these, though they are few and far between. However these don't handle like conventional sail boats.

Do any foreign boats ever pass through? Maybe winter there?

Lots of people will be happy to teach you how to sail if you help with "boat stuff".
