I give up /o/. I've been sharking craigslist everyday for the past couple months trying to get a miata for under 2k that is not "tastefully modded bro" or just wrecked in general. I hear shit all the time on here about how people get good running miatas for a few hundred dollars. How?
Also post any really good car deals you have ever jumped on.

Because you need to get one that is modded, beat to shit or wrecked. Jesus anon you are buying a car for under 2k it is going to be a piece of shit. The reason people buy Miatas for this cheap is because even piece of shit Miatas run.

I'll sell you mine for $4500
It's a 97 bone stock with 106k miles
I sold my '91 Miata for $800 a while ago. It needed a new transmission, the paint was completely fucked, and it didn't have a top.
You have to pay to play, OP.
Got this for $2400 two years ago. 1996, 81K, newer top.

yeah but two years ago the haggard garage ricer tax didn't exist

You waiting too long. Prices of used NAs are going up

So does that mean if you disregard popup preference, the NB is the better deal right now? The other day I saw a 2001 on sale for 4500.
>>13643350
NB is way too fucking ugly to even consider buying
>>13643376
>implying
It looks like a FD-lite and we all know the FD is the sexiest car in history
>$3800
>completely stock, clean title, all original
>have window sticker from when it was bought
>zero rust, garaged it's whole life and I garage it
>99% all there and mechanically sound
>just cosmetic thing that need to be restored like paint and some interior pieces.
I did pretty good. I would have had a hard time finding a regular foxbody for this price let alone a Capri with a t-top.
I bought a ranger also with 12k on it a year and a half ago for 3k so that was a pretty good deal as well.

You must be new here. People were starting threads like this back then and that car should have been $4K.
