The fuel pump is on the fritz/fucked.
Looked online, these pumps are discontinued
It has a single carb/4 cyl engine.
I read online that gravity feed works great for these types of bikes.

This happens to you too? When I'm in my car or on my bike, the douches in brotrucks will quite often get butthurt when I pass them and try to catch up or block me.

I have the same brake calipers on front and rear but the front brake doesnt feel as good as the rear brake. The rear brake pads are new and on the front probably more than 5 years old. Do brake pads get worse over time?

yes, they get brittle and porous. my shitbikes brakes were completely fucked when i bought it, had enough material but it nearly fell apart from touching it.

Yeah that clearly makes a difference in price. But ~50€ would be enough I think. I know its common practice on car parts to price it after oem parts. There are some brake pads that cost like 2 times as other with the same size just because they are for a bmw and not a cheap opel or whatsoever.
Hello fellow texas bro. The "twilight hour" is 11pm to 1pm. Bars close at 2am and the drunks are on the road well before then. I reccomend skipping I35 however, there are prettier, albiet slower ways to get to Austin

I bought the cheapest chinese nobrand shit you could find, no issues whatsoever. But remember to buy from an actually reputable parts store instead of online, I wouldn't buy any operation-critical parts from e.g. eBay.
What I was referring to is how many Suzuki bikes share brake parts, rims, suspension parts etc. etc. (for example the GS500 and Katana brakes are identical, GS500 only has one front disc, though)
I wouldnt buy the cheapest stuff when it gets to brakes. The cheapest brake pads will do their job somehow but especially on the brakes I want a good job.

The cheapest noname brake pads from my local "reputable parts store" cost $25 for a set for one caliper (so $50 for both front calipers) and have served me supremely well always.
I think the brand is more important thant the store. I dont have a problem with buying parts from a good brand from ebay. Just be sure to not get some fake stuff.

I couldn't sleep so I've been watching a lot of motorcycle crashes for the past few hours.
It seems that the two most common causes of crashes are
> lowsides because too fast / no throttle control
> speeding / filtering through intersections
Why do so many people decide to speed through corners they don't know instead of testing them out at safe speeds and then gradually getting faster the better you know that particular corner? Why do so many people not understand that it is hard to see and be seen when filtering through an intersection, and that often cars want to turn there? Why do so many people not realize that going through intersections too fast to see if anyone's approaching, and going too fast to stop in time if someone decides to pull out, are among the stupidest things you can do?
In like 99% of the time, the rider is at least 50% at fault.
Are people really this dumb? Is it so hard to apply common sense to riding?

Chipping back in here, I had a "bikuu-ruu" fund that I pull straight from. I asked for the best because my budget allows it. The bike is stock currently, but my list of modifications is slim. Starting with my white fairings. Just not sure what would look good with it

Granted, many car drivers don't bother looking and if some drunk russian idiot thinks it's a good idea to do a u-turn in the middle of a highway then that's just shit and can't be foreseen. Most of the time these accidents happen in intersections though, where it's likely for cars to turn left, right or around. In many of these cases an accident could have been averted by the biker, with proper brake control, alert senses, safe distance to moving cars and appropriate speeds relative to road surface, visibility and riding ability.
