Best, new, /out/ vehicles?
What country?
Subaru outback

US of Ayyyyy
Will they ever drop the kidneys? Get a different look? Give their designers a bit more freedom to experiment? Or has it become so ingrained into the brand identity that, if they ever did, they'd be crucified?
Eat my ass

/o/tists do you wax your car? What brand do you use? Hand wax or machine?
Griot's polywax with a random orbital
Meguiars xpress wax
Just fucking works and you can use it on trim
Spray on and wipe off

Hit up autogeek all the knowledge you want. But also I would like a detailing general. This is now a detailing general.
Anyone else taking lessons at the moment?
>slow learner
>on the third lesson and only just doing the stuff most people do on their first
>>17247698
>fast learner
>short attention span
>make lots of dumb mistakes
>generally, an airhead behind the wheel
>finished my lessons so far, today i did the school's driving exam
>tfw second try
>this wednesday im gonna have to go to take the final exam in a car i havent touched
>tfw its a ford focus
why cant i just roam in my civic shitbox at 40kph in peace, without having to do this shit
>>17247698
Don't worry. I was a slow learner to start with, but after a couple of months it literally just clicked and I could drive with little trouble. Passed my test first time with only one fault, I forgot to check my blind spot when moving off from an emergency stop.
>>17248120
btw my clutch control is horrible, it always does a click in lower gears. letting it go slower doesnt work, maybe i should try holding it mid-way? pls halp (we learn in diesels, and the focus has a double clutch)
Let's face it, this is still one of the best looking 2-door cars ever made.
>>17247492
The Lincoln Mark VIII and Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe look better.
>>17247492
In what margin
>windshield wipers stuck
>take them off
>discover linkage isn't moving because nut is loose
>tighten nut
>put wipers back on
>they go fucking backwards now (down/up instead of up/down)
they work now, but how do I make them go the right way again?
car is a 1994 saturn sw2
Unbolt them again, move them to the end of their up travel, tighten
>>17247469
tried that, they just try forcing themselves into the hood cowl
ignore >>17247484 I misread >>17247469
>>17247469
that's what I did, but I want to fix it so the off position is at the bottom instead of in the middle of my windshield
I did it /o/.
I traded my 132hp Veloster for a 201hp Veloster Turbo.
>>17247418
The Veloster is still ugly as fuck but at least you have something under the hood to distract you from that.
No one deserves that kind of pain. Sorry anon
>>17247418
should just have gotten the elantra sport
I can probably get a 2015 Golf TSI with 50,000km for 12 to 14k CAD. With "leather", has scratch on bumper that's quite visible though.
Opinion?
Canadian economy is going to implode soon. Save your money.
>>17247416
well i need to return my TDI so i need another car... suggestions my negro?
>>17247380
1.2 and 1.4 TSI-engines are known grenades, not sure about 1.8 and 2.0. I would be doubtful about them too, also DSG is shit.
When your local importer(Finnish) says that there are more working engines than broken ones(and nothing more), you know it´s bad.
Why did they change it from a big lumbering muscle barge into a FWD girly car?
>>17247245
Because FWD is better in every conceivable way.
>>17247250
>give it more power than a lawnmower
>it goes into a tree
>>17247245
Ford reduced its number of coupes in the late 90's to streamline its line up, including the probe, so this served as the probe's replacement.
Found a salvage GT-R for cheap, how hard would it be to put a RB26 or a 2j or smthn and a transmission into it? No motor, no tranny, no wiring harness, etc, in the car.
>>17247214
>how hard would it be
this question right here tells me you are poor and/or underage/not serious
because money is the only problem here. its very possible, don't know why you'd want to do it though.
If you are on 4chan asking then I will say its far beyond your capabilities.
>>17247214
just stop playing pretend on /o/ and stick to playing Forza Horizon/NFS
What are the 3 top /o/ memes as of now?
* Twingi
* Doug
* ???
V6 Challenger
Still arguing that manuals are better
That a 3300 pound American car is pigfat
Japanese 3300 is not pigfat
Frs not a shit
One day you will settle down with a qt3.14 waifu and deal with a FWD econobox
Up is down
Left is right

I have a budget of $5000-$7000. I want to buy the cheapest car with the most HP possible. 350-500 hp with a good power to weight ratio. Any ideas? Or if I have to buy the engine and the car separately.
Something like pic-related.
>>17247040
Just do pic related with a 5.3, shit pay me and I'll do the swap
Less-desirable G-body and some sick mawdz to the 350.
Yank?
Old ls1 donk + cam and old turbo = $ cheap and easy 500hp
