What color is your car, and what color do you wish your car was?
I have a black Mk5 GTI and I love it but I wish every day I'd gotten an orange one. I never saw one for sale and about a week after paying cash for this one, an orange one shows up on craigslist for about $1000 more. I'd pay that. Whatever my next car is, it will be orange, I won't stop looking until I get it.
You? And how do you feel about getting your car repainted and changing the color? I probably wouldn't do it, afraid it'd look obvious and drop the value.

Sometimes I wish I got a color that didn't show fucking everything.
Do you like cloth interiors?

Yes.

Plastic is the best because you don't have to worry too much about stains and it's very easy to clean.
yes I prefer cloth to leather
Are girls more attracted by a car's design, power, or sound?
>>17273861
It's pricetag
>>17273861
D.) none of the above
they are attracted by the amenities in car such as: air conditioning, power locks, power windows, backup cameras, stuff with touch screens, a rear hatch you can open with your foot etc.
unless we're talking about top tier cars that can be seen as status symbols, the list above is what the majority of them care about. or at least i think so. there's always exceptions to the rule, and i could be wrong.
Cleanliness. They could care less about what you drive. Just don't present your property (a reflection of your state of mind) in disorder.
They'll quickly associate cleanliness with an ease of mind and comfort.
If you aren't strictly ONLY using Shell gasoline to fuel your automobile you literally do not care at all about your car at all and rightfully have no place posting on this automotive forum, or any other for that matter.

Threads are a rarity as we mostly hang out in our own dedicated Slack chat. If you want in, just post up your email (it can be a throwaway), and you'll be invited in. We do actually discuss things of an automotive nature, don't fear. It's not all degeneracy.

what parts are unreliable...
played dirt Rally and loved the 1st mini from the 1960's lots of control... so i was wondering if the minicooper s was still as good
Hey, /o/
I'm trying to decide which hot hatchback to go for. Seeing as how new models are coming in soon, pricing is pretty competitive right now so I figured it was a good time to buy.
One thing to note is that I've got about 30k saved, but I really don't want to pay over 20k for either of these cars. I figure the new models coming in soon, and having some decent purchasing power as far as down payments, I should be getting a decent deal.
Which is the best value?
Focus RS ST1 (base)
or
Golf GTI S
The focus has more power, but the Golf has more features. Having a hard time deciding on this one.

A 2006 Canyon that I'll be passing on to my sibling. It's in the 130k range as far as mileage and the fuel economy is definitely not the best.
I've owned an Eclipse GST before my dad passed the truck on to me, and I really enjoyed it. I want to buy a similar car for my first new purchase.
