I peeped the used car pin and if it's to be believed, mid-2000s Lincoln town cars are a good purchase.
There's a very handsome one I've been looking at for a few months while I get my finances in order and search around local listings, but it's dropped $1000 since January (from $4995 to $3995) if I remember correctly.
What are some potential problems that may arise from this car if I were to go to the dealership and cop it? Is such a massive price drop a red flag?

No one wants them (aside from niggers) becuase they guzzle gas, and they're cheap becuase there's a shitload of them out there.
>>17312825
I don't particularly care about gas guzzling, I drive a gas guzzler now and can afford filling it up fine. What I can't afford any time soon is a fuel efficient car.
>>17312834
Just telling you why they're so cheap dude, and why its not really a red flag.
Planning on swapping my 3.9 V6 with a V8 in my Dakota and texted the guy selling pic related and will be meeting Monday to buy it. Should I go through with it or back off? I feel nervous but I've never done a swap before either. Anything I should check for? I'll check if the engine spins freely, but not sure what else. I'm bringing a friend as well.
>tl;dr
buying new engine for dakota, should I or should I not
>>17312813
Check the compression of all cyls...Shouldn't be much more than 10pp difference between them...
Look at the block, see if theres alot of oil deposits/runs/drips...if there are, can you trace back to where they start...as in, valve cover gasket leak...list the issues down on paper, obvious in that if its a huge issue then you walk...
Do not be afraid to walk away...idk if you drove 600km, if it feels bad, looks bad, you get some bad vibes then just walk the fuck away...
It would be easier to buy a V8 Dakota

Since my truck is a 2000 but the engine is a 1997, what should I do about the pcm? Dodge stopped putting 5.2's in dakotas after 1999 but continued them in rams, would a ram pcm work or no?

just get a civic with some tasteful mods

I think 2016 is the last year they built the coupes 6's so you have that going for you.

Rethink OP, remember the 7 series from 2003, people thought those cars were hot shit until 5 years later they were $9,000 craigslist specials....
Has anyone ever successfully positioned their side mirror to reflect headlights back to the drivers behind them?
Haven't been able to successfully do so. Any tips? Success stories?
good idea
I think the problem is that most headlights are pointed down, rather than straight to the car in front of them

This.
>>17312583
The only solution is to install a light bar or Off road fogs on the back of the car.
> Oil Pressure Gauge
> Normal readings when cold start
> Normal readings when driving
> Idle at lights and it dips to 5psi
What do my Lesbaru friends?
Did you check your oil level?
>>17312555
its in the acceptable range
>>17312539
Are you running it stock or with a tune? It may be something with the tune, unless it's stock then it might be something mechanical
we need more details

If you had the money, would you a used ghost?
>>17312428
If I had 100k to drop on a car it wouldn't be anything used
What do you mean by "having the money"? Maintenance on something like that is a vortex like you would never believe. I'd like to get a junk one to transplant the interior and front clip onto like an SRT8 or something though.
Some Arab prince's sloppy seconds? No fucking way.
Anyway this can be fixed?
K-swap it for $500

Know someone who can weld and just have them weld.on another one
>>17312178
You could probably weld something on(have 0 experience here). Or you could run a zip tie and clamp setup. Just get creative.
Is that a minibike? Worth not much so you could do whatever.
What's the first real step to getting into driving a motorcycle?
I've never ridden one let alone a dirt bike, the extent of my experience is my little pocket rocket doing rad laps in my backyard at breakneck speeds when I was young. What is the first real step? I don't wanna start out as a squid so any advice is welcome so I can become a rider you can respect and not hate if you see me on the road. At least minimize the hate because I know some of you have a default hatred for them, and I can see why. I want to get into it because it seems fun, and since we're on break for uni I wanted something I can park anywhere (motorcycle parking on campus is at the very front of the parking lot which is a pretty big deal). It's not the main reason, but it is a factor I want to get into it.
Any help is welcome. I know the risks, and I'm just speaking hypothetically since I'm debating whether to pick one up.
Buy a used bike for ~2k, budget at least $300 for parts to fix it up (sprockets, chain, etc), buy a cheap jacket and helmet for ~$150 each. Get your learners permit. Go riding.
Post where you live, how tall you are, and whether you plan to ride off road or not. I'll take 10 minutes to find you something appropriate on Craigslist/Kijiji/Gumtree.

New money is always gaudy. Nggers always like shineys

I like professional sports not for the games they play, but because it's literally public slavery. Rich white men buying and selling negroes based on their physical prowess, and rewarding them with shiny things for being good boys.

2017 Nissan Versa S for 11.5k
Parents are giving me a 2003 v6 accord with 140k miles and I'm stoked. What can i do to make sure it lasts till 200k? Can anyone tell me about this car? Commen problems?
They seem pretty good cars to me, my borther has a 04 4 cil close to 200 k miles and still runs great, just do the regular maintenance and check the motor mounts.
Good car, read the manual do all scheduled maintenance and check the oil levels once a month to make sure it's not burning oil, change the timing belt when the manual says to
that's about all you can do
>>17311857
should be easy
do your oil and filter changes on time and replace any rubber that is breaking down
Opinion, my white brothers?
It's a 2012

Gonna do an oil change, flush it and then do another oil change
All the while pretending I didn't hear the godawful noise the turbo makes whilst spinning down
I'm headed down to a dealership tonight to checkout an RX-8 Shinka edition. Hopefully the dealership hasn't been feeding me bullshit this entire time, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Other than that I'm going to change my oil in my Celica tonight.

So, headcount of those going to Bimmerfest? Only a few hours of light between now and everyone arriving at the gates of Fontana.
Done a wash, clay, and wax and going to detail the interior. Also removed the Fancywide logos from the diffuser, makes for a much more balanced look.
