hey /o/ i've been thinking about getting my motorcyclist permit/licence for awhile now. I have never driven a bike in my life. How hard is it? every time I say ill do it I always chicken out because it seems like a big hurdle, but fuck do I ever want to get it.
If you're good at things it'll be easy, if you're not it won't be.

>If you're good at things it'll be easy, if you're not it won't be.
well that is very vague. so I have only ever driven a automatic car in my entire life. how hard is shifting on bikes. I have absolutely zero knowledge on bikes and manual transmissions.

Can you ride a bike? If so that's half the battle done. Can you read traffic, and predict whats happening ahead of you?
If yes, then you can ride a motorcycle. Take the MSF course, it's really fun, and you'll find out if you can handle it.
If you pass, remember to respect the bike and it's power, and don't squid till you can actually ride the twisties if confidence.
Hey I have a choice of getting two cars as my first but idk what to get help me decide plz. Pic related is one of them
Well first was a truck but whatever I meant vheicle. Pic related is second option.
>>17314948
what the fuck do you need that beast for?
if it's a first car I assume you're young. so you're probably not picking up spics in the back of your truck to take to the construction site. that being said, the second car would imply you're a family man with an office job
i'd prefer the truck personally.

3k civic. Don't get either of these shitboxes.
How am I supposed to text/browse/shitpost while using this?
Git gud
>>17314640
You don't shift once a second.
Also learn to text one handed with your left hand, drive with your left knee and your all good.
stop shifting every one second??
Good
It would give me ultimate satisfaction to melt it into a glowing steel puddle and buy something better, but I rely on it to get to my wage slavery and can't afford an upgrade.

Hondachan and I get along great, she takes me where I need to go and starts up every time. Only problem is that she leaks a good bit of oil, I go through the entire oil supply of the UAE about once a month.
Pick one car that you would drive year-round for the rest of your life.
>Hard mode: 1 car for your whole household
Pic related:
-looks better than that year's ctsv coupe
-corvette engine is reliable and easy to tune
-can easily handle Canadian winters
-all dat cargo room for road trips
-Automatic so the wife doesn't burn up the clutch in rush hour
-Would replace the mag-ride suspension though because fuck fixing that out of warranty

This is a pretty subtle Cadillac ad. You shills are getting smarter.
No question
>>17313173
Its an ad for a car that's no longer in production?
>Reviewbrah drives a Thunderbird
is he /ourguy/?
>>17312731
What are you talking about, He drives a Prius?
>>17312783
This. He's objectively got asperger's or someshit, he's so weird. I like watching him because he's so uncouth, but he's not normal.
Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if he actually collected GBP and had tendies in his freezer, he eats like shit.
who's that psychopath?
Really makes you think
WTF I love "her" now
>you have to drive an American car to run for congress

fuck off back to >>>/pol/, retards
Why do people buy Acura?
>>17308169
To not be flashy and still have a really comfortable luxury car that won't always break down?
>>17308190
>Acura
>luxury
m8, they're just Hondas with leather
>>17308250
They sure are comfortable and luxurious enough.
>copy the miata

Assuming it's an unprotected left turn, the turning car is at fault.
So i drive a 93 toyota camry with 180k miles on it. total beater with multiple things wrong with it that i just have never been able to afford to get fixed. been driving without power steering for over a year now just because the guy(s) i took it too quoted me 2k+ to replace the hoses and the pump. bunch of other issues i wont get into here.
now, i'm a safe driver. never had so much as a speeding ticket. 4 days ago i was sitting at a red light and some pajeet in a mercedes benze rear ends me pretty damn hard. my camry still runs and is driveable, well as driveable as it was before the rear ending. so anyways, i take it into the shop my insurance company told me to take into and then they are going to see what pajeets insurance company is going to do. the insurance lady was saying something about "totalling out" my car which i don't really understand.
has anyone been through something similar and can let me know what to expect?
>>17316743
*i take it into the shop this monday
Who cares its a 93 shit box that has the same technology as a SNES.
>yfw they won't bother paying you the money to fix a 1993 shitbox, so they will just pay you the market value
That's why she mentioned totalling your vehicle.
Alright /o/, tell me why I'm a faggot for buying a 2014 dodge dart gt, and why I should buy something else.
>fiat
>>17315987
why fiat over dodge?
Buying any car under the Fiat-Chrysler name in the past few years makes you an uninformed faggot. They've been putting out lemons constantly, including the Dart, and you just bought the "I wanted a civic si, but my dad said to only buy 'American'" version of it.
Plus it's ugly.
I just bought a black car and I hate the look of it
How much will it run me to get it repainted?
take it to at least 5 body shops
ask for estimates
>all will be very different
how can i guess?
about tree fiddy
>>17315749
How about a make and model?
500 for cheapest if you take to Maaco and get their shit job. Upwards of 5k on real high end jobs.
>car handles like a go-kart in the corners but isn't fast in a straight line
>my state is nothing but straight lines and zero backroads
Why did I fall for the handling meme?
Did you let a bunch of autists on a Mongolian cave painting forum make the decision for you?
You have no one to blame but yourself.
The good news is that you can sell your car and acquire a different one at any time.
>>17315679
Only challenger that's worth buying is the Hellcat model. Sorry senpai.
