hi everyone, i'm new to this board, coming from /tv/. so can someone bring me up to speed with what happens around here? what memes, good and shitty tripfags, etc.
The war between manual and Auto transmissions, tripfags are always faggots which can be ignored, million threads of chilling for some various shitboxes. /o/ is full of busriders and benchracers, quality Threads are rare.
>>17379685
And many more shit Threads which you will know very quickly since they are started Every day for new
>>17379688
Also dont be a faggot, Never buy a miata or this shitbox from initial Dick
Which shitbox should I choose to learn manual in, a 1990 Nissan EXA or a 1989 Ford/Mercury Capri Turbo?
Buy whatever, I learned in a new 2016 corolla
The myth is you'll kill the clutch learning, but it's a lot easier to learn than you think.

What is your favorite car and why?
For me, pic related.
The way it looks, even in stock form, just really does it for me. I love everything about the way it handles too.
>>17379364
Is 15k € a good price for one?

Grand Camarokee

wat the fug
>>17379216
It actually fits better on the Cherokee than it does on the 5th gen """""Camaro""""". Shame it's so pigfat that its front end looks less out of place on an SUV.
>>17379230
It's actually the front end of the 2006 Camaro concept car.
Will Toyota ever stop being shit?
we will see that this saturday-sunday
>>17379114
Probably not their the chebby of japan
>>17379166
No that's nissan. Toyota is the Ford of Japan. they keep it together but are kinda scared of being ballsy with performance cars.
Daily. Fucking. Reminder.
Mazda is the best car brand.
f you're not driving a Mazda 3 hatchback, you might as well start building a cuckold shed. Interior is sleek, the panel isn't crowded with retarded shit. Comfy seating. Better acceleration than most other cars in its class (zoom zoom faggot). I average about 35 mpg driving around the city, 40 on the interstate going 75 mph, and up to 45 mpg if I'm going 60 mph on older highways. Plenty of room to haul shit around in the back. The backseat folds down completely flat, not leaving behind that faggot 4-6 inch ledge some seats do. It also drives well, feels good on the road, not a bunch of play in the steering wheel. The pricing is competitive as well.
It's cheap, performs well, drives well, is fuel efficient, and doesn't look like turds like most other hatchbacks. It's literally the best car for most people's needs.
Mazda's target audience is young drivers who appreciate great design, maneuvrability, sportiness, practicallity and great all around usage. Either that or single moms with SUVs. They don't need useless muh luckshury segment. Thats why mazda is a based car company, being loyal to their clients. Not to mentiom the best selling cheap roadster is still being produced to this day with very few changes yet unforgettable 90s soul
Go fuck yourslef.
Lol 150/185hp

I. SAID.
>zoom zoom
FAGGOT.
>heavy
>panders to boiracers
>enjoy getting revved and honked at every stoplight by ever 90s civic with a campbell's soup exhaust
>not even the best MPG or HP in its segment
3/10 apply yourself Mazda IDF
How do you guys feel about custom grilles?
The one thing I really hate about my vehicle is the grille .
Thinking about fabricating something completely original.
Anyone here done this?
Looking for inspiration so any photos of cool grilles you have seen would be great.
Thanks!
>>17379022
What do you have and what do you want to do to it?
>>17379022
>How do you guys feel about custom grilles?

Is ghost cam tune bad for the engine?
>>17379126
Its not damaging to the engine
but
why tune for no power and shit mpg to sound like something you arent
in my opinion
if you want to sound like you have cams
go buy 4 of them and put them in the car
Favorite racing liveries thread
>I'll start
I prefer this over the traditional Pratt and Miller colours t b q h.
The pre 1998 Ferrari Liveries were just amazing with their more darker red.
I'll start:
>be me
>16
>finally get license
>tasteoffreedom.jpg
>get my sisters hand me down 2004 dodge stratus
>the good:
>engine nearly fucking bulletproof never had to mess with it whatsoever only had to do oil changes and that was about it
>drove from point A-B pretty quickly and was able to keep me entertained as far as HP for a 16 year old
>the bad:
>Towards 200,000 miles all the sudden everything (except the engine) started breaking and needed to be replaced
>when and why I got a different car:
>October of 2015
>7am
>on my way to school
>pull up to 4 way stop look left no one there look right see a pair of headlights far away (as in not coming up to the stop sign anytime soon)
>start to go
>get my front end ripped apart by this old Ford ranger with a box
>my cars front bumper lights radiatior etc was ripped off and strewn across the road
>old fart proceeds to start screaming at me for bending his shitty running bars
>cops come
>16 y/o new driver vs a 50 year old with no witnesses who'd you think was gonna win?
Next car this is gonna be a long thread buckle in
>2007 dodge stratus
>after my other stratus got totaled my mother gave me her stratus and got a space age 2017 Buick
>the good:
>pretty much same as last stratus except extras in the interior were nice
>the bad:
>didn't have it for very long so didn't have any bad expiriences with it
>when and why I got rid of it:
>may of 2016 traded it in with my dad's old Buick century to get my next car on the list
Next car: 2011 Nissan Cube
>the good:
>great MPG unique styling and lots of room the interior would be comparable in size to a small SUV
>the bad:
>Basically slow econobox
>constantly got picked on in Highschool for having the car
>girl with a rusted beat up 250,000 mile SUV was higher on the car food chain than my car
When and why I got rid of it:
>June of 2017 traded it in at a dealership for a 2001 Ford Mustang with only 28,000 miles
Well that's it

>smoker's package
>niggers have audacity to say it was a non-smoker car
>majority of Porsche's have smoker package
What the FUCK is wrong with people smoking in a 100k+ car?
I wont FUCKING BUY IT!
>>17378574
Nor will you ever be able to buy a Porsche...
>>17378580
gas yourself
>>17378594
I love how you have the audacity to shitpost on here about a smoking package out of all things then post your investment portfolio like you're some macho man...you're not worthy of even being behind any Porsche product. Keep on trying to make it look like you're living the lavish life when you're not.
Talking about brakes
What's the best manufacturer for your model?
Are cheap rotors better than cheap pads or vice-versa??
Who's your favorite brake fluid maker?
coated or non-coated, slotted or non-slotted, drilled or solid???
etc.
>OPs dilemma
I have a sweet set of textar rotors and pads
I got them to get a handle on what I think is rotor warp
BUT i just came up on some zimmerman rotors for ultra cheap
I like the idea of using the textars as a set but they have better packaging than the zimmermans in terms of storage
however i also came up on a set of Jurid by honeywell pads at the same time as the rotors
so i was thinking about using them, but IDK anything about Jurid quality
tl;dr- how does /o/ feel about mixing pads and rotors? Has anyone heard of Jurid brake parts?
Solid coated rotors with ceramic pads
Slotted/drilled rotors are stupid. Solid ones vent more heat because more surface area.
>>17378545
why coated?
does it do anything besides prevent corrosion?
do I even care if I replace my rotors every 3-4 years?
