My 1991 1.6 miata smelled like coolant when I was driving. I stopped at home and opened my engine bay, smoke or steam was coming out from pic related and just non-stop hissing. I also noticed I'm losing a lot of coolant, it's all under the car. Anyone know what's up?

Possibly. Same thing happened to me in 08 in salt lake city. Dui for weed and then they found my rainy day jar (lots of different pills 30+). Took me in, said I'd have court and a bunch of bullshit within next 4 years. I haven't heard a peep out of them and it's mid 2017. Just keep your head down and don't do anything to remind them you exist.

I've been watching all these drift fail videos and there's a common theme of the tires especially the back coming off the car
What causes this? Do the axles snap? Or did the idiots just not put the tires on correctly?
