>trying to fix my car on my own recently
>fixed it after three trips to the tool shop to get right tools because something was always missing in the house (mostly my brother's tools)
I think i'm going to spend some money and complete my very own toolbox. My inner consumer couldn't be more excited (i can't believe i'm excited over getting a wrench set), and it will surely prove useful. However, as you can see, my toolbox is a small thing that could easily fit in the car trunk, so it won't be anything other than absolute necessities.
So, do you have a nice toolbox? What does it contain?
>>17410125
Metric and imperial ratchet and spanner set. Rubber mallet. Wire brush and threadlocker. That should be enough for most work
>>17410125
Sometimes I wish I had a single, big box where everything had its own designated place, but at the same time I know there isn't much point since I've already got most/all the tools anyways
I ended up just making myself a larger box to keep a good sized assortment of tools and other stuff I might need along the road. Putting a full set down there would be more neat, but as I said; no point
It has since had a few more additions; some fluids, a couple more wrenches as having 19mm as the biggest available can be shit, bolt cutters, blacksmiths hammer and a fault-code reader/deleter
>>17410125
If you're keeping it in your car, have some duct tape handy too. I think japs have zips and something to make holes with too.
Are you going to buy any ford after this?
Probably, if they are worth the money or not.
Jaguar is owned by the Chinese for some time already and that haven't done anything bad to them, as far as I know.
I'm not gonna buy any Ford at all no matter what

Jaguar is Indian owned senpai.

this is why i take pictures of everything im taking apart step by step, video is even better though

Should've taken a picture b4 you started. Some boyo will probably have a pic of your car with all the bolt locations. Not really a huge deal.
Hello I would like to know which one of these is easier to work on and more fun. I would also like to know which is the better daily.
Civic is a better daily. More volume to fit your stuff. Miata is more fun to drive on the twisties. They both have a respectable aftermarket. The civic is more bang for your buck and an underdog compared to the Miata. If you wanna be called a fag and be like every other guy who bought an NA Miata for meme status go ahead but don't expect to not be called out on your decision to buy one.

One is a FWD econobox that poor people have convinced themselves could be a performance car if they only spend another 2k for that mad tyte JDM swap. The other was best described by Jeremy Clarkson, "The fact is that if you want a sports car, the MX-5 is perfect. Nothing on the road will give you better value. Nothing will give you so much fun. The only reason I’m giving it five stars is because I can’t give it fourteen".
>>17409321
The better question is, how far will x amount of money take you when buying each car?
If your budget is $3000, you won't get far with Miatas these days. $3000 will buy you a decent civic though.
Just gonna leave this right here.
Retards all around me spending 50k on new trucks to use them once a year. I just pay uhaul $50 once a year.
>>17409930
Well, the point was more about the lovely wagon I'm rescuing. But yeah, the Uhaul arrangement worked very well. For how rarely I need a truck, theirs does just fine.

You better keep that wood paneling

Anyone with a 90-97 VFR750F? What is your top end like? Mine feels a bit lacking, but the low end and midrange is fantastic.Should I get a jet kit? (Probably stage one because i'm not trying to race this thing)
Also, any suggestions for next/second bike? I'm thinking about getting a Speed Triple next year, but the lack of fairings isn't great for fall or spring riding.
Only faggots ride bikes with less than 650cc

ausfag here, i only just got my p's and i'm looking for a good first car thats p plate legal. what are some good options if i want to go a little fast?
>>17409153
vl commodore
>>17409153
Buy the meme car anon
Don't buy a fast car on your P's. Corolla or some other econobox is plenty fast for a P plater, plus you get to save money for a fast car on your fulls. What's your budget?
What's the most miles you've ever put on a car?
one (1)
271,433. I still remember the exact number.
Like... 11,000. It'd probably help if I didn't work 10 yards from my bed

>>17409131
Japanese cars are just too fucking good. I find it hilarious that the GT-R is still the epitome of a well rounded performance vehicle even though it's been around for 10 years. Thing is faster than the new GT and doesn't even try
"Gee Sven, now we have all this free time while Muhammed fucks our wives, what shall we do?"
"I know! Let's relaunch our recently-growing performance brand as a vessel for electric cars! That will make the communists happy!"

Cmon man...
...isn't that what link & co was supposed to be? Electric Volvo's?
Volvo has been dead since 1993, how are you just realizing this?

Show me your porsche
Not much of a Porsche, was wondering if I should build a "fence" around it, make it look a little less open.
Is this car any good?
>>17408165
tell me why?
>>17408162
It looks like a 05 cavalier after eating to many big macs.
The cobalt? Eh, it was alright. It's a basic econobox. I had a Pontiac G5 which was basically the same thing. It's a reliable econobox. Nothing more.
I'd you want something similar but more power, look up the Cobalt SS.
