Hey guys, I hope this is the right board to post this on.

I'm replacing an instrument cluster in my vehicle, which I have never done, and I am curious if all the gauges and stuff reset automatically when it's put in.

It's a 2003 vehicle so it's not a new fancy cluster. I know the odometer will not be correct automatically because it's digital, but I really don't care about that. I just want to make sure that the arms of dials for the speedometer and all that will work properly.

Yes it's plug and play. Have it programmed to the correct mileage.
>>
>>17372808
What if I'm ordering it from someplace that doesn't program them? It's not a huge deal that it doesn't work, but I am curious as to how I would get it set without going through a manufacturer.

Dealers can do it

Is there a way to avoid them?

What are giveaway signs of a speed trap or undercover car?

Are radar systems legal?

Yes. It will feel like a downgrade. Coming. From an ep3r, the fn2 feels very numb. The ride is very stiff, and because the gear ratios are so short you'll be sitting past 3k on highways.

Get an ep3r. Because this just feels like a ecobox that revs to 8k.

Does anyone know a good place in Toronto to rice up your car? I'm specifically interested in some sort of interior glow mod for my civic because I want to see the dash better at night.

Can someone explain to me how a car moves. Im pretty sure its powered by the giant propeller in the front as seen in pic related. The fan must act the same as a plane propeller right ?

hi /o/ someone in my area is selling a 2016 dodge viper with 800 miles. the issue is that it is a salvage title. luckily there is a video of its crash it does not look to bad IMO, but i dont know much about cars. price tag is 72 K what price should a car like this go for? here is the car https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3GhhqMksY4

I would have a reputable mechanic and body worn specialist inspect the car from head to toe. If no real issues are found I would pay over 30k.
>>
>>17372063
did they fix the door? and other stuff? or are you going to be buying it with the damage?

the reason being, replacing that shit gets expensive quick, especially on cars like vipers.

Probably one of the best options to go for, Benz C43 AMG:
- Amazing tech
- Great interior
- With performance packages brings you up to about 70k

You could have a nice e46 m3 for around 20k and a v12 s class for another 30. Combining these two extremes is retarded.

Dear /o/, Not gonna lie, second-time poster here. I'd like to call myself a bit of a car enthusiast. I'm currently working on an Astra 1.4 Club (it's my first car and it's extremely economic), and I'm considering fitting it with a twincharger system. Alternatively, I can buy a Volvo 850 20V 2.0 1995 with 110k miles on the clock, and do this one up real nice with some new rims and treads and repaint with front and rear spoilers. So my question to you is this: would you recommend spending more time on my Astra H, with only 65k miles or the Volvo 850, with 110k? Thanks, Cam
