One man became The Shame of a Nation
Will terrorists negatively affect cars and especially trucks? Forcing some new road laws or safety mechanisms in vehicles?
Some people are going to blame cars and not drivers.

I own a 2008 Nissan Xterra, and has the rake lines changed at a local place because they were rusted. Once I got it back, the VDC Off light and Slip light came on the dash, and the brake pedal became incredibly soft like the brake lines were filled with air. They told they wouldn't fix it and to never bring it in the shop again (car came from new york to florida, because I moved.) I had to replace the ABS Module and do the brake lines all over again and bleed them. What the fuck is wrong with that mechanic shop? Can they just tell me to never bring it in again?

lol GM got fucking BTFO
2 months ago I got brakes and rotors changed on my '99 Lexus IS at the dealership.
Recently noticed a metallic grinding sound when driving and one of the front wheels does a loooud squeal when I turn to the right.
Jacked up the car and noticed that a brake clip grinds against the brake rotor.
Is this something I should get fixed or should I just ignore it?
>pic very related

They fucked it up. Take it back and make them fix it for free.
>>17410414
Yeah same thought. But it shouldn't affect everyday driving, right?
>>17410424
Most likely not, it'll just be annoying.
Does anyone know of any good import agencies? Japan and Australia? I'm only looking to spend around 18k Max for everything.
I was looking through Japan Partners but I don't know about them.
Any input is appreciated.
>GTR
>GTS
>Cefiro
>Chaser
Something along those lines
No way in hell am I gonna buy something already in Burgerland. They add around 5-10k on the cars already here

I was looking at the lightly modified one and it doesn't seem to be a bad deal. I'm just looking at other options because GTRs are going for 13-15k plus another 1500 for import fees and GTSts are going for 1/3 of that.

These cars are starting to go under 40k in their standard, lower range RWD forms. The value seems to good to be true. So does the warranty not transfer?? Is supercharging not free for 2nd hand owners?? Do the batteries shit out?? I know the warranty lasts 8 years for the battery, but it costs 45k for a new 85kwh battery apparently.
Anyways, now that their price is going into hot hatch territory, how can I justify buying a Focus RS when these are becoming so cheap.
>>17410244
Used batteries, heavy, short range in the old models, no support from tesla unless you have deep pockets
>what's the catch
Sub 200 miles range in the real world, 12+ hours of charging at home, superchargers are supposed to be for road trips only, Honda Civic tier interior. Warranty will go to the new owner but will still be counting down.

I have two other bikes and 3 other cars, so this is purely a do I want it to have a yooge tow/work vehicle question.
Would you?
Bike in question is an 84 Honda Shadow.

Your favorite muscle car?
Also why do some people not like tuner cars? Just got interested in classic cars and want to know what should I purchase after my old car dies on me.

>Also why do some people not like tuner cars?
Skylines are unobtainable, Supras are too expensive, and I don't want a 4 cylinder or a FWD car.
So, Camaro.

good choice, opinions on a 95' corvette stingray? I see some listings online that are selling for $1,000ish.

There are a lot of boots to grease after you've had an old car garaged all winter.
Brother is looking for a car but he will not buy American or anything made before 2000.

Why are trailblazeits considered so bad? They're comfy and make good power (I think they were the fastest suv at the time) mine has 156k and the only work that I know of is a new tranny at 155k
They aren't inherently bad, I've spent a good amount of time driving one. That straight six engine was actually the last american straight six and as you said it makes plenty of power and those torks are available almost immediately. Biggest complaints are a pretty forgettable interior and exterior but I've seen some prettied up ones that looked alright. People also liked to neglect them which is why they aren't popular as they get higher in mileage but the one I drove was at 70k and doing just fine.
