Does anyone know how good the A3 sedan is for tall people? My friend is interested in onr, but he's super tall.

Shiggy diggy. You should end the friendship.
Hi /o/,
My mom drives a 2007 BMW 525i, and just today she texted me for help. Apparently, the car shut down and sputtered on the side of CA-46 (the weather there is 98 degrees fahrenheit, last I checked), with no warnings or alerts. She has tried to start the car again, but the engine starts and then immediately dies.
What do, /o/? I have no idea how to maintain BMWs, nor what problems they may chronically suffer from.
>>17421792
it means that most likely you have a engine cooling system failure, and you should immediately stop trying to turn on the engine and fork over 1.4k to your nearest stealership for a BRAND new cooling system kit.
no meme, my dude. BMWs have this issue.
Bad distributor, disconnect it then prod it with a screw driver until it works.
>>17421792
Could be the cooling issue if your mom was too stupid like to watch for the temperature gauge.
Or the compression might shoot up if the engine is WAY too hot.
But since its a german car from 2007 i am gonna assume its some ECU bullshit trying to ask you to take it to the nearest BMW-brand-certified-dealer for you to spend thousands on a sensor change.
What are some cheap SUVs or trucks I could buy for $3000 or less that can go on dirt? I'm thinking about using this vehicle for rallying and for work. What do you think?
>>17421687
Toyota Pickup
Jeep Cherokee
Bronco
K5
Ranger 4x4
Outback
4runner
etc.
Any $3k wranglers/landcruisers/other high$ shit will be beat to shit and high mile
Chevy s10 or s10 based blazers.
They are dirt cheap to buy, maintain, and upgrade.
Suzuki Samurai
Does this mean I can do mad skidz without rolling over now?
Yeah nothing can stand in your way now
>>17421839
Nothing should stand in OP's way, they won't be able to stop before hitting them.
>>17421600
>worrying about rolling over while doing mad skidz
Are you some kind of bitch? I used to offroad a '92 Ranger when I was 14 and do mad skidz. It was so high off of the ground. The only thing I worried about was my dad getting pissed as fuck for ruining so many sets of tires.
I'm a virgin who has given up on ever getting pussy.
Is this the right vehicle for me?
If you like black women, then sure

Question for /o/
I bought a car back September (9-16-16) and shortly after was hospitalized for 8 months. I'm finely in good enough health to go out and register the vehicle. Am I going to get raped with late fees, or just face the traditional extra $25 for not doing it within 45 days? I live in Indiana, and cannot find any non-forum answers. Also BMV stories I guess.
>>17421529
Californias is the only state I know of who fucks you like that, forces you to pay to own an unregistered car. The worst other states will do is ticket/tow you for parking an unregistered vehicle and that obviously hasn't happened to you.
>>17421529

I think you mean finally. Go back to school.

Is this a good deal?
Based on a quick search of CarGurus, I'd say yes
Toyota's are bulletproof, but their interiors are fucking hideous

Are you 70 years old?
>>17421437
fuck no. you can get a Lexus with less mileage but just a few years older.

I thought MightyBenz was on top of this stuff? Anyways, can I get this VIN checked? Thanks.

what's a retards guide to cleaning a car? Usually pay my Bud $20 but he's out of town and she is dirty
What the hell is this? Is it bullshit or is it worth the $100?
>The HUBB filter looks and works completely differently than a conventional filter and protects your engine much better. The difference starts with how the oil flows into the filter. The HUBB filter features two large kidney shaped openings in its baseplate that channels the oil around the exterior of the primary filter. These large openings dramatically increase the oil flow in comparison to a conventional filter. HUBB deploys a patented filter-in-a-filter design. Most of the oil is filtered by the primary filter which filters oil from the outside to the inside. But when the pressure increases during acceleration. HUBB's 1st pressure differential valve opens and oil flows into the secondary filter where it is filtered from the inside to the outside of the filter. This opposite flow from the primary filter eliminates cross contamination of the clean and dirty oil, allowing only the clean oil to flow through the center of the filter and back into the engine.

Sounds like a meme to me
A guy in autozone today loudly asked the cashier to "PLEASE CAN YOU GET ME A PUROLATOR BOSS OIL FILTER?" and when the cashier said it was protected for 15k miles and cost a lot more he shouted "I DON'T LIKE THOSE CHEAP FILTERS I LIKE TO GET MY MONEY'S WORTH" and looked around at everyone with a smug grin on his face
>>17420834
I didn't know they made filters for snake oil.
When buying a used car is there any value to getting a manufacturer's "pre-owned" vehicle over simply looking from private sellers?
>>17420680
Not unless they're giving you a warranty.
>>17420686
This. Always get them to include at least a 12 month warranty.
Otherwise go elsewhere.
>>17420686
This. CPO is a steal, but a normal used car had better at least come with a warranty.
i'm buying one of these foul beasts, stop me if you can
>>17420628
I own 2.
I like them.
If you want some lawn art get a garden gnome.

Try Amazon. You can see the shops you are buying from in the details.
