The first model 3 rolls off the assembly line next week
But December they will be able to build 20,000 cars a month, and 10,0000 a week by the end of 2018
>>17471535
Good luck buying the first model year ever of a car. It will have so many bugs in it. Call me in a year or so and let's see how they've dealt with fixing everything that was broken.

Looking to feed my need for an ae86 with something cheaper, Celica xx a good choice ? Live in Aus btw
>>17481330
Get an AW11. It's pretty much a backwards 86.

>with something cheaper
That thing would cost more than a new car to keep running thanks to the marvel of german "engineering"
Easily the worst Mustang ever made.

So tell me how bad is your car right now
Mine has 2 misfiring cylinders, broken ac, back left tire deflated (got it filled), broken radio, broken off left wiper blade, and the front tires are so worn down you can see the gum strips
Oh and pic related isnt exactly my car, although the car is a suburban 1999; Its just 11 at night and i dont want to take a picture of my car
It needs some new rear rotors and a new bank 1 valve cover.
I ordered the new valve cover today, so my oil burning mystery will finally be dealt with.
So, not too bad.
also when i am stopped when it is on, i can feel it and hear it in a weird motor pattern
but no matter what, i love that car
i have been in it since i was a boy and i wont let it go
Just got this beast for a steal of a deal. About $4k under market value, only has 59k miles and they're pretty rare. But it needs some work, shifter needs new bushings, will need a clutch soon, tires are worn unevenly - probably needs an alignment, and will need new rear tires in 5k-10k miles. Also need to change the trans fluid at 60k which isn't a big deal but a lot of to-do stuff on my list for having just bought it. I think it will be worth it once I get all the maintenance up to date though.

See pic related.
Should I sell my poor supra and buy this? 4k Canadian, apparently no rust and running.
Car is freshly painted and I've got new trim on it (just no trim picture yet)
I know I want to do the window trim at least in black, what do you guys think about the hatch and bumpers?
i really like this car, but id prefer it to shift slower
do you guys offer a model with that option?
>>17481563
How about you simply move the clutch and stick slower?
>>17481566
oh, maybe you missunderstood
our standard model comes with a dual clutch

Are c5 corvettes the future of youth drifting?
Drift tax is destroying the rwd jap car market. While shitty beat up 240s are going up in price, the price of corvettes are going down. I can see a time when they overlap very soon
Why not a 350Z? It's already a pile, so you don't have to feel guilty for ruining it.
I can see the appeal, but it's not like c5 corvettes are that cheap
I'm calling it right fucking now: '80s and '90s American malaise-boxes are the future of thrashable cars.
Imagine one of those cigarette-and-Vicks-smelling, five-previous-owners, faux-luxury GM/Chrysler/Cadillac/Pontiac nastycans with a posh fucking Victorian name like Boulevardier or something. It's got the twenty-year-old Rotary Club and Journey stickers, the forty-five-year-old Computer Tech major with a stained tee of an obscure OS at the wheel, and the sixty-five-year-old mother backseating the "between jobs" techie's life as much as his driving.
Now give it the treatment you see ricers normally give to Civics and Celicas.
Will there ever again be a 4-door, rear-wheel drive, 400hp, LSx powered sedan???

If your car can be "damaged" by a 2000 mile trip then it's a hunk of shit.
Drive your car. Thats what it's for.
One of the admins of my city's most populous and normie car group on Facebook is a shameless /o/tist in contrast to all but a handful of other people in it who have even heard of 4chan. He's naturally also one of the group's biggest shitposters. This makes me wonder how common it is for typical car people in the Anglosphere at least to frequent /o/. Can anyone else speak from experience in their area?
