Will Lexus ever make an LFA successor?
Will Lexus ever put their V10 engine in another car?
>>17532671
The LFA is such a pretty car, its such a mean and gentle machine at the same time.
>>17532671
I've been hearing rumors about a successor in the works that would be faster than the LFA. Let's hope so because for $400k the LFA was dogshit slow.
>>17532671
No
Think of how that would affect the brand, first for them to put the exact same engine in with no tweaks(talking at least over 100hp) is unthinkable, just kills the sense of loyalty to customers old and new, and if they did crank it up to say 700hp with forced induction they would have to sell the car at a completely different price range than the 400-500k LFA... meaning they would have to go over 600k range, if they tanked the price of their only super rare limited run car by doing a rehash with the same engine in the same price range who the fuck do you think is going to buy the new "super limited run" supercar from FUCKING LEXUS, that is running on an outdated engine... and since it is running an outdated engine the new car would have to be fucking world class, which lexus could pull of I guess, but since it's not their market and the LFA didn't steal any significant market share or really outshine ANY other competitors it's just a dumb idea, like opening up a lemonade stand in your neighborhood and immediately buying fucking 50lbs of lemons
but I do think and hope they will have another supercar and hopefully the supra won't suck balls
Says the guys with a "race car" Miata... do you regularly drive Porsches up and down mountain roads in Northwest Washington and British Columbia at the ragged edge? I put my hand at 12 whenever I'm not slaying the mountains bud.

Why are rwdcucks such insecure fags?
Miata fags on suicide watch. They will now only put their hands at 6 ok when not racing

Daily falcunt thread for the best ausfag and updates on his new vf2 commodore.
He's getting a GTSR Maloo with his centerlink money next year, which should be very exciting.
How can we persuade him to have sex? He has the car, now he needs the woman.
>falcon
>commodore
>Maloo
He's not a virgin, based on these vehicles he's probably fucked his sister or cousin
>>17532516
He is a virgin, he's too afraid of women.
How do we get him to fuck his sister?
Also, this thread is for discussing all related falcunt memes such as his current builds. Discuss his new ls3 swap in here so we don't clog up the other aussie threads.

Everyone who does not keep left unless overtaking (or right if you're a fag who drives on the right side of the road) should be exterminated
is this in general or just on the highway?

in zones which are over (not including) 80kmh, and when your exit is 500m or less away
>toyota gt86
>197bhp, 151lbs/ft
>honda nsx
>290bhp, 224lbs/ft
>gt86: 1.3046 bhp per lbs/ft
>nsx: 1.2946 bhp per lbs/ft
People complain about the GT86 having no torque, but it has more torque per bhp than an original NSX had. No one ever complained about the power or torque figures in an NSX.
So basically is all the whining about the GT86's lack of power and torque pure garbage?
I'm guessing people who complain about its speed are just used to faster cars. They have something to compare it to. So compared to those cars it's slow. For someone like me who's only driven shitboxes it would be quite the step up in speed.
>>17532470
>people who complain about its speed are used to faster cars
Maybe 30%. The majority of people who complain about the gt86 are just bus riders
>>17532367
Power per torque isn't a good metric to compare how cars drive. Especially if you're talking about peak numbers. But yes most of the 86 hate is from benchracers
>get in NSX
>fire up engine
>drive off slowly
>15 seconds later
>car decides it can use electric power only
>it shuts down the engine
Isn't that horrifically bad for engine wear?
>>17532288
>electric power
having electric power in a supercar is like having dollar store towels at a 5 star hotel
>>17532288
Highly doubt it. if anything that just means it'll be the most reliable car in its class. the engine as a V6 twin turbo is already under stressed with making something like 450 HP in an engine that was probably designed and built from the ground up to take heavy boost. this just means the engine won't be doing a lot of work at all.
>>17532304
Having the car be able to go quiet when you need it and make noise when you want it is like driving something out of a Bond film.
>>17532288
wear comes from starter usage and from spinning up the engine with no oil pressure. using a beefier starter or the electric motors to start the engine solves the starter problem, and having an auxiliary oil pump solves the other (i have no idea how if at all the nsx does it tho)
Guys, I fell for the normie benchracer weeb meme.
I really want a MkIV Supra and a R32 GTR. Wat do? How do I curb my degeneracy?

How do I know they are talking shit? because they did the same thing when my cousin bought used.
Why are people like this?
Fuck 'em. Who cares if they laugh at you, you're smiling in your used car.

You know what's funny is that autists end up being the ones who are more socially aware later in life than the "normal" people who have a "normal" start in life.
You were smart as fuck for buying used car you like, make sure you maintain it, get some tools learn to DIY so you won't get fucked in garages, keep your ride in tip top shape and don't give a fuck what anyone says. They will end up calling you for a ride because shit happens. People laugh at anything that is outside the mold, they'd laugh at you for buying a small cheap used house while they get into 30 year mortgages they'll never be able to pay off.
Live your life financially responsible as you have been.
We do want a pic of your ride though anon.
