So true this video is

so whats the general consensus on subaru ?
I always hear very polarised opinions on them, either poeple say that they are nearly unkillable godmachines or that they are utter unreliable trash with cardboard headgaskets. Whats the deal ?
"Why bother"-tier unless you go for an STI or build a Legacy wagon sleeper.
They're good as long as you don't need a new cylinder head gasket.

So I just bought a new S2000 as my daily since I don't like driving my NSX anymore. I'm thinking of adding ITBs to it but don't know which manufacturer to go with. Im using Jenveys for my NSX but thinking of going Toda racing for the s2000. Anyone have any experience??

s2000 a shite
are you a drift king?
Its really fucking crazy how fast those touge fuckers would go when the street racing scene was as big as used to be. My uncle showed me few videos from when he use to hoon when he lived up there for college and fuck you could swear you were at the track.
Its a stark contrast to those faggots that claim to race when they really just do 15 second highway runs. Touge is so fucking rad.

I'll never be a dorifto king
How dare you call yourself a car guy and not be excited about and supportive of the paradigm shift
Because a shift by itself isn't necessarily positive, it can also be negative. This is the same retarded logic that implies that everything progressive is an improvement.

>tfw no more vibration and rumbling
>tfw no more startup sound
>tfw no more warmth of an engine bay
>tfw no more exhaust note
>tfw no more redlining on freeway entrance ramps
>tfw no more heel-toe downshifts
>tfw no more super or turbochargers
>tfw tuning becomes a lost art
I'll take vape-mobiles and bro trucks over a cold, depressing world of soulless electric vehicles any day.

How could settling into a sustainable and permanent human existence be a negative?
Anyone know what car is this?

I'm pretty sure it's a Cadillac but not sure about the model
1974 - 1976 Ford Thunderbird. I don't think you can differentiate the years purely by exterior appearance, to my knowledge the only differences are trims and options.
Currently driving a 97 accord just hit the 200k miles car still runs very good but the ac system doesnt work and its too expensive so id rather get a used car i have 3k cash best one ive found is a 2005 corolla for 2000$ i really want a truck but idk if its possible to get a good truck for 3k or less.
you already don't know any kind of punctuation or how to communicate any relevant information, go ahead and make a CL listing, you'll fit right in.

Not OP, but what do you do if a part breaks? You know , since the care is an import?
Are you just stuck without driving it until the part is ordered if it's a mechanical component?
>>17547019
We here at /o/ don't import Cares, just feels.

Holy fuck how did I post a new thread instead of replying to the post?
posting in an epic thread
> looking for a truck under 2k to last a year until I finish my associates in college
> see van
> looks good, fairly good looking and affordable
> afraid to get labled as a rapist or be rejected by grills because I drive a more useful vehicle than a truck
Why couldn't the stereotype of child rapists be associated with wagons instead of vans? :(
If you really want the van youll just have to deal with it. I used to drive a rusty ford econoline and yeah, you get pulled over more often and if you park for mote than 10 minutes anywhere the police are called. And dont like retard soccermoms get you down as they stare at you and herd their kids. Best you can do is clean it up and make it look like a proper work van, you get way less looks that way.
Girlfriend drove her '10 Jetta 300 miles to come see me. Halfway through, a CEL comes on. She arrives and I scan it and it comes out as:
P0106 - MAP/Barometric Pressure Circuit Range/Performance Problem
I drove it for about 70 miles and the CEL went off. Like 30 miles later it went back on again.
As we were driving it, I was checking for anything weird in temp, idling, or acceleration.
temperature was always normal, the car never rough idled (Drove over 100 miles), and acceleration wasn't weird.
Would my girlfriend be able to drive the car back 300 miles or would it be dangerous? I'm debating driving the car back to her place with her driving my car.
Thoughts?
Sounds like a MAP sensor.
>>17546985
Did she drive 300 mile to get her car fixed or do something with you ?
>>17547030
She drove 300 miles to hang out with me and halfway through the CEL went on and now here we are?

>My $200 generator has a system which will not allow it to run if there is not a sufficient amount of oil
How can they have figured out to put this on a 150CC Briggs and Stratton but not on a car?
>>17546676
Because forcing people to maintain their own car, whilst perpetuating a climate in which people feel they don't have to allows manufactures to void warranty claims.
So your car doesn't shut down in the middle of a highway because a sensor thinks you don't have enough oil.
I dunno, because ((they)) make more money if you run the car with out oil, trash the motor, and have to buy a new one.
