Is there a game in which i can tune a street shitbox to blow on raw power?
Something like my summer car but less focused on the survival aspect itself and more about getting a shitbox, slapping a big turbo in it and watching the engine destroy itself.
Im interested too mate
It's called real life
OP here this is what i had in mind, or at least i thought about it after watching this:

I just changed out my TPS, MAF and another sensor on the throttle body, would this cause a momentary lag after starting the car?
It started up fine, then sputtered and would feel like it was about to die after driving it up my street but after a minute or two driving around it felt like it cleared up. Is this normal? Was the computer recalibrating all the new sensors? If it helps it was also a new throttle body I cleaned and ripped off another car of the same type.
>>17574266
>Was the computer recalibrating all the new sensors?
yes this is my experience with swapping out MAF's, runs funny for the first couple miles then it's fine
>>17574285
This anon is correct.
After replacing sensors the ECU needs to retune the air fuel mixture. Happened to me when I replaced my stock intake.
Hi can anyone tell me which is the clutch pedal?

So I recently got an old Merc 300sd and the interior is in really rough shape and needs to get replaced sometime soon. Should I keep the materials and colors the same or go with something different. I'm also tempted to remove the clock from the instrument cluster and replacing it with a boost gauge. I'm wondering what I should do in order to keep the cars value high so later on I can hopefully sell it for the same or more than I bought it for.
Definitely not the boost gauge then. Try to keep the interior color the same, cars look surprisingly weird when the front seats are one color and the rear are another color. I had an old W126 300 SE with all seats beige except the gray driver's seat. Always felt a little weird.
Pic related was mine until it got stolen :(

Why, how?

>I'm wondering what I should do in order to keep the cars value high so later on I can hopefully sell it for the same or more than I bought it for
Don't put boost gauge within 10 meters of this car, holy kek.
Replace the interior, but I would suggest keeping it all stock. Basically restore it to clean and original if you want it to hold any value whatsoever.
Once and for all, is the 6er Gran Coupe a women's or a men's car?
>>17573895
>4 door version of a 2 door version of a 4 door car
only women are this fucking stupid
>>17573895
Anything bigger than a 3er is an obvious man's car
OK, I know this is one of you fuckers, so to the guys in E-Town with these sick-ass weeb stickers: you made my day. Work was hectic and I felt great just knowing someone in the area has these stickers. Thanks guys
>>17573823
you realize people outside of 4chan are weebs with stickers on their cars?
>>17573823
Shout out to the guy near Baltimore with the caprice wagon with the WAT racing sticker on the back window. I've seen it 3 or 4 times on the east side of 695, makes me giggle everytime.

Hey guys, can you help me with the installation of my 1979 mgb side gasket for the windshield, i have removed the windshield and slipped it on but i do not know how to screw the little metal thing inside the gasket, thanks
/o/pinion on Curb Rash? My friends rims look like hes been in a fucking accident, he hits curbs all the time. But he doesn't seem to mind. He jokingly told me it was just weight reduction. Personally bothers the fuck outta me when I scratch mine.

Pic very related btw
Eh, I cant stand it either, but I live in LA.. My rims look like shit, and its almost impossible to prevent that.
I mean hey, we we're being scientific, it does INDEED make the car roll faster by some degree, lol.
Who has bought a broken down car the same model as their daily drive to use for parts (as well as selling other parts) and was it worth it?
I parted out a few cars. Money wise it is worth it but it takes a lot of time to sell off everything.
>>17573549
i've had several 1.6 mk1 focus parts cars to supplement my daily driver
it's good as long as you don't mind using used parts that might have an unknown history, often gets you decent spares for cheap if people just want a 'broken car' gone
>using two or more old cars to make one good one
This is the patricians way to /o/.
I drive a base 2011 2.5i Subaru Impreza hatch, and everytime I pass a WRX or STi I always seem to make eye contact with the driver.
Am I being stared down, or looked down upon, maybe even shamed by the drivers of the superior models?
Why do I always feel like they're trying to make me feel jealous for having a nice car that just isn't sporty?
So, I'm looking to buy a car to replace one I've been having issues with for a while. I'm been looking around, and I've got my eyes on one of these. It fits all of my needs and wants, and I can get one for a relatively low mileage for a good price.
Is there any good reason I shouldn't be looking to buy this? Most of the comments I've ever heard about this car are memes about its looks, which I never even understood. Other than that, I don't know of any reason I should be wary.
It's ugly but it's basically a wagon malibu with a manual tranny. They are pretty reliable with the ecotec engine.
>>17573404
they're okay. Performance is kinda anemic and the battery location is pants-on-head retarded. I actually like how they look.
I rented one once. Drove it ~3000 miles round trip.
Horribly uncomfortable car. I'm not that big, but I couldn't fit comfortably in it.
I couldn't spread my legs at all.
I drive a Honda Fit and it's just fine, so it's not even an issue of me not being used to small cars.
Trying to buy my first car and I really want this one. It's a 2011 hybrid and only has 50k kilometers, for about 13,000 before tax.
My question is how do you buy a car you can't afford? I have about 6 grand on me right now and I'm sure i won't be able to get a loan from my bank. The dealer offers financing but I don't want to fuck myself with multi year contracts.
I can probably afford this within a year but this seems to be an incredible deal I won't find again, so how do I get this now?
sorry for the blog post
>>17573400
>My question is how do you buy a car you can't afford?
if you're smart you don't
if you want to be a dumbass in debt when you don't need to be, then get a loan from the dealer with a more than likely ridiculous interest rate
buy a $6000 car
By an older accord hybrid instead for 5k.
>>17573400
buy a civic for 3k right now. it'll take you 3 years or more to spend all that 6k.
I like Breaking My Wallet when Mercedez-Benz me over to maintain my Poorsche.
