>GM is reviewing whether to cancel at least six passenger cars in the U.S. market after 2020, including the Chevrolet Volt hybrid, which could be replaced in 2022 with a new gasoline-electric crossover model, Reuters has learned from people familiar with the plans.
>Other GM cars at risk include the Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac CT6, Cadillac XTS, Chevrolet Impala and Chevrolet Sonic, sources said.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>The shift toward SUVs, fueled by cheap gasoline, is putting pressure on nearly all major automakers in the United States to simultaneously shift short-term production plans and rework long-term product programs that drive capital spending over several years

Ah yes, glad we've learned absolutely NOTHING from the last price surge.

Commodore SS vs Mustang
Who wins?
>>17576180
It doesn't matter. They'll both break down before they could make a first lap. Both rubbish garbage.
>>17576180
I have a new, all stock, Chevy SS(6M), which is pretty much the same thing, and my best friend has a 2016 Mustang GT(6M) with an intake, borla exhaust and a tune. I kick his ass every time we race, whether is up a mountain road, or just a straight up drag race. They're both pretty fun cars though.
>>17576742
I'm surprised a GT with bolt ons would lose to an SS off the line. The SS has less horsepower and an extra 300 lbs.
Why do all affordable modern cars look so emasculated and feminine, I have 2 grand to buy my first used car but they all look like cuck mobiles

Hi /o/,
I have absolutely no experience in maintaining a car older than 2000 but this weekend I'm looking into buying a 1988 Mitsubishi Starion because I love the aesthetic of this car. Is it difficult to maintain it and drive as a daily? I have my 350z as my daily now but I was hoping to make the Starion my new daily, I'm just unsure if its reccomended to daily such an old car. Anyone with suggestions/tips on maintaining an 80s car?
>>17576143
Uh, you probably don't want to
Finding parts for a 2g DSM was hard enough for me, i imagine unless you know a specialized mitsu shop you wouldn't be able to find a single goddamn thing beyond tires and oil for this thing
>>17576179
The Internet is your friend. I owned an 85 Flatty for a while and DDed it to work and school every day. I was able to find everything maintenance-wise I needed online.
>>17576143
I daily drove one for a few years. Its now my secondary car. You should get good at wrenching. Too often I see guys buy them and then part them out after the balance shaft bearing go out or the head gasket pops.
Is it true that Australian police sit around in ghille suits with speed cameras in the most empty roads such as between towns and shit?

uber ain't worth it
your personal insurance covers your car when you're not using Uber, and Uber covers you when you have a passenger. when you're driving around with the app open, you're uninsured. You can get separate insurance but that costs money
most of the time you don't have a ride, if your rating falls below five stars you get fucked hard on fares
a lot of fares are too short to be worthwhile, plus wear and tear on your car as you're waiting to get fares...
>>17576055
Don't do it op
My sister did it for a month and quit because she was too fed up with drunk guys harassing her while driving also her back seats now smell like a fucking homeless shelter from people either spilling their beers pissing/shitting themselves or throwing up in her car
Here's my fucking story.
>2016
>Pick up some asshole poo in loo
>have to wait for his stupid ass for 6 minutes because he wasn't ready
>said something "mean" to him in the nicest way possible
>fucking asshole slams my door when he enters
>I tell him not to slam my door
>faggot loo replies with "We got off on the wrong foot" because I told him he should of been ready when I arrived.
>drops him off, fucking curry nigger slams my door again
No, now I can see how Taxi drivers feel. Fuck this shit.
>crosswalk (glow in the dark, with bumps and lights) 5 meters away from pedestrian
>pedestrian crosses anyway
>despite him being in the wrong, legislation makes the driver guilty by default if hit
>>17576011
It's your duty as the operator of the heavy Machinery to be in control and alter at all times even when the pedestrian isn't. Get a dash cam if you're really so blind you can't be aware of pedestrians in the cross walk
>>17576025
>alter
Alert
>>17576025
it is my duty as a driver not to fucking drive on the sidewalk and above the speed limit.
The pedestrian's duty is not to run into traffic

dude its like every top racer ever squished into one bite sized package
Can someone red pill me on the M-Sport package? What exactly does it include? I was hoping to pick up a 2014 335i with that twin turbo N54? because I've seen the YouTube videos of how fast it can be with the JB4 flash but will I need the M-Sport package for these same performances?
stiffer lower springs (except the xdrive) and other cosmetic shit
stiffer, lower suspension settings, different, bigger wheels, different skirts and bumpers, recaro sport seats, sport steering wheel, black alcantara headlining, that's all.
you can run a non-M sport 335i with JB4 just fine
>>17575832
Body kit and wheels mainly, you can actually spec them so they don't come with the stiff suspension. You also get better seats, although they are not Recaro, they are actually comfortable. Again though, you can usually spec the better sports seats on the SE models. a few other cosmetic touches as others have mentioned but the engines and drivetrain are exactly the same as on other models.
If you are buying used you can put the VIN into the BMW website and it will tell you the detailed spec of the car so you can check it all there.

Looking into getting an after market exhaust for my WRX (blobeye)
What do I need to know before doing so?
What are the main benefits of a turbo back vs cat back?
Do both require a tune after or is it just a turbo back that needs one.
I'm leaning towards an invidia q300 or greddy revolution rs.
Which would you say sounds the best without being to obnoxious? will I regretted getting one over the other?
Cut off the exhaust from the down pipe back, and weld in some 3" straight pipe.
Cheap, and effective.

If only there were heavily-populated forums dedicated solely to Subarus where one could find such answers. Ah well, one can dream...
So, I am planning to get the driving license and buy a car.
And I do not know which.
Currently I am thinking between 1985-1990 Mercedes E W124 and 2004-2007 Renault Symbol (or Clio), and Peugeot 206 of the same age.
And I am planning to spend less than 5000 USD on those shitboxes.
Does 206 Peugeot have any wiring issues?
Will AT fail on old Mercedes?
What other cars can you recommend me? (in Chile)
Toyota, toyota, toyota
I had similiar problem (206 RC vs Clio sport) and I decided to go for 206 RC, because of the looks and I didn't have any problems with it so far. The car is awesome and I totally recommend it.
Interior is quite lacking and handling could be better, but you cant have everything with such budget.
Nevertheless clio is amazing too
although try to get 206 RC or Clio sport, dont get their normal version as they are slow as fuck
>buying anything from europe that isnt from germany
go see a doctor
Anyone seen Baby Driver yet?
is it a decent /o/ movie? or is speedracer still the only decent /o/ kino?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5H2AWFLwQk
is this scene real? like was that supposed to be cool cos I found it kinda cringe?
Also is this the only Subaru scene?
This did not need to be it's own thread.
Its not that amazing of a "/o/" movie the driving is well choreographed but it's mostly 75% about the characters not the driving.
I personally liked the movie and think it's worth seeing.
Yes that's the only subie
>cos I found it kinda cringe
Your whole post was cringe you should delete it.
