I've seen him rolling around when I was visiting my girlfriend at UCSC. Shame to see it auctioned but it was probably a piece of shit lol

Quit LARPing we know it's your shitbox anon.
> tfw to dumb to understand rev matching
> tfw have too put it straight from 5th to neutral every time I have to stop
Get a motorcycle, you'll understand it a lot faster.
just press on the gas a little and bring the revs up and see if its too high or low
then just go from there
you wont hurt your clutch that much
I rarely downshift when coming to a casual stop. Each situation is different but I usually just engine brake in whatever gear I'm at until it hits idle rpm, then pop it in neutral.
Ask me anything.
2.0 Turbo Kia Optima. Just like pic related.
>>17652887
Nice one OP. I recently purchased a 2014 Kia Optima SX turbo as well back in March and have been enjoying every bit of it as a daily driver.
Even impressed my cousin enough with it that now he's looking at getting one.
I got mine in the Titanium metallic color scheme.
Yours is clean as hell. Any plans to do anything more to it? Or keep it as is?
And I can't recommend the panoramic roof enough. Tell your cousin to check it out if he likes it.

This. Currently hunting down a s13. Don't care if it's running or not. They're basically a fucking Jap car to build into anything.
How do I reach this little shit? I got a sensor socket off amazon but it seems like the walls are too thick to actually reach the nut, it just bumps into the obstructions over and underneath. I could try ordering a different socket but don't want to bother if it's not likely to work. Is there another tool I could use here?
this is the socket, does it seem unusually thick?

The socket is fine it's just shit placement om the O2s part

But then eX-Driver will be real:
>In the distant future people no longer drive cars themselves, instead relying on AI (artificial intelligence) computers to drive their cars for them. But when these AI systems start losing control and running wild somebody has to stop them. éX-Drivers are the people who are able to operate the older mechanical non-AI dependent cars who chase down the AI cars and stop them.
>Cars used by éX-Drivers are marked with an éX-D decal. Typically an éX-Driver car would be an older mechanical type car and almost always would be rear-wheel drive with the exception of an AWD (4WD) Subaru Impreza WRC since éX-Drivers usually employ techniques such as drifting when bringing down runaway cars, which is much more difficult with front wheel drive (FWD) cars and in an all wheel drive (AWD) car.

There's a difference between 4wd and awd you fucking attention whoring nigger.

Ok /o/. I think ive narrowed my next car down to one of the following.
24v VR6 gti or a zzw30 mr2
Here's what im considering
GTI
>orgasmic exhaust note, this alone could make the car worth it for me
>fantastic aftermarket/moddability
>infinitely more practical
>likely to be less reliable than the mr2
>smells like crayons
MR2
>ive actually driven one and it was really fun
>toyota reliability
>great drivers car for the price
>aftermarket is not as good but engine swaps are easy and well-documented
>doesnt look at sharp as the mk4
>insanely impractical
Neither car will necessarily be my primary driver, but either could have the potential to become one. I just want a car that puts a smile on my face whenever I drive it. Both can be found local to me for similar prices.
What do?
Mr2 inb4 snap oversteer
>>17652090
MR2, hardtop
>>17652090
If your priority is the smile on your face, like it should be, the MR2 is the way to go every single time.
Hi /o/,
I have a 2013 shitstang v6 auto that has 12k miles. I have done a couple things to it, nothing major, to it and now have wondered if its due to a tune.
About a month ago, the car wont engage into shifting into reverse or park or anything. I usually feel a bump when shifting from park to drive or reverse, but it will not do anything and act like if it was in neutral.
My car would work like normal after going to park and turning it off and back on, but today i had to do it 4 times to get it to work.
I have a MPT tune, but had it over half a year now. Nothing else but bolt ons where done, any idea what is going on?
lmfao
Get a real mustang.
>cagers
I just got this.
volvo c30 2010 r design
what are some babys first mods?
>>17651847
get a flash tune and exhaust if you want power, or springs and a set of Bilstein HDs if you want better handling.

Nice meme, faggot. Now can you answer my question?
Is CVT still unbearably shit nowadays, or have car companies made strides to improve it?
The concept itself is flawed to hell and only appropriate for low torque cars where it doesn't matter anyways.
You can't fuck with basic physics. It's what it is.
>>17651338
Why? It's essentially infinite gear ratios.

About 82k. Had "neck warmers" on headrest so you can drive top down in cold temperatures.
I think Ferrari F-40's are selling for north of $800K these days, so probably that.
I also saw one of the factory Daytona convertibles at the same place, not sure how much those go for.

HOW BAD ASS WOULD IT BE IF SOMEONE CAME UP WITH A RANGE EXTENDER MOD FOR TESLAS? LIKE A MICRO TURBINE IN THE TRUNK OR SOMETHING!
so now it takes 8 hours to charge completely instead of just four
>>17650654
NOOOOO LIKE A FUCKING HYDROCARBON POWERED FUEL CELL IN THE TRUNK OR MICROTURBINE
Then people could get like 400 miles on a charge instead of 150. Seems like it would be moderatley popular and piss off eco pandering musk.
>>17650637
WHOA LIKE WHAT IF WE PUT A DIESEL GENERATOR EXTENSION ON THE TESLA AND THEN WHILE THE ENGINE RUNS IT CHARGES THE BATTERY SO YOU HAVE A CHARGE AS LONG AS YOU HAVE DIESEL?!
