Sure it does, but not fixable by wax. Carglass (Germany only?) does have a compound that can, under some circumstances, fix that, but mostly it's used for actual cracks (stonechips).

AUSFAGS: What do you think about Austroads proposal to fit alcohol interlock devices to every P-plater car in australia?
1. Drink drivers will just remove the interlock anyway
2. 5500 people is most definitely NOT an acceptable number for a "Nation-Wide" survey.
3. The P-platers of 2003-2012 are obviously not P-platers anymore, therefore the statistics are in no way relevant to todays P-platers
4. Someone else could blow into the interlock,
5. How on earth are you going to wire a car to start via an interlock, if it starts with a key?
6. What if I want to drive someone else's car?
7. What if someone else wants to drive my car?

Road rage stories general
Alright, /o/, this happened to me about an hour ago and it scared the shit out of me, it involves a motorcyclist.
>be me, around 11 pm
>getting ready to make unprotected left turn on not so busy road
>see headlights, way off in distance, decide to go because far off
>I take it easy and make the turn slowly
>guy has to be speeding, as I'm making turn, I see him approaching alarmingly fast
>As I'm completing the turn, I notice the other guy is in a motorcycle
>guy misses me by about 8-10 feet
>hear him scream "FUCK" through his helmet and through my window
>continue puilling away
>check rear view mirror, see bike in distance pulling over, beginning to make a U-turn to come in my direction
>drop into 1st gear
>nope the fuck out of there
>floor it all the way home, 60 in a 30 for the final four blocks to my house, checking rear view mirror
>mfw I gave a motorcyclist a near death experience
>mfw he was ready to follow me home
>mfw he probably had all intention to beat the shit out of me in the middle of the night
Scared me shitless, but I'm good now. Any other stories of road rage and similar incidents?

Both have their uses, and we've advanced automatic transmissions to the point where they work really well. I noticed a lot of the negative stigma people have against automatics were problems seen in early automatic transmissions.
Performance and general reliability wise, manual is better in many situations. I hope to see CVT technology be advanced enough to where it performs admirably... but for now they're fairly underwhelming and unreliable.

They shifts very well, but their reliability is even worse now. Most modern autotragics won't live past 100k without issues
Well it happened to me. I knew better. Went to Walmart to have my oil changed because lazy. Not 5 miles down the road SMOKE EVERYWHERE. Immediately pull over and sure enough the entire underneath of my car is COVERED in oil. I called them and crawled inside the guys asshole. Going in tomorrow to figure out what they're gonna do about it. Hopefully my engine isn't damaged.
