Do you talk to your car or treat it like it's alive?
27 posts and 5 images submitted.
>>
no. my car is a machine, nothing more. I try not to become too attached to my car because it's probably going to be ripped away from me by some inattentive 16 year old girl one day.
>>
no

but with the way I cuss it some might think I do
>>
No but when the nova is in the garage, I give it a couple pats on the bumper or hood on my way out

The Targa is relatively affordable, brah.
>>
>>13875574
thats because the targa is shit
and your pic isnt one

id rather have an s13 hatch than a targa 911 and i dont even like weeb cars.

The S550 is on the right track to becoming the undisputed god machine. Once Ferd gets their head out of their asses and makes an AWD model Mustang, nothing will stand in it's way.

Hey Br/o/s, my faggot V6 Mustang is shitting coolant. Basically seems fucked in every direction. Takes a long time to warm up, overheats, loses coolant, and the heater doesn't work. Found a leak at the temperature sensor, could that be behind everything or is there probably something else screwed up too?
11 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Oh yeah, thick grey sludge all over the thermostat housing there too. Oil looks fine so I don't think contamination is going both ways, or maybe it's something else entirely?
>>
One more thing: coolant steam comes through the frickin cabin vents when it overheats.

Most fun for them. I enjoy driving my car around like a mad cunt on the toge before hitting downtown LA for some fine dining, clubbing, or local breweries.

To be honest I'd like a little more redneck shenanigans in my life. Hipster shit gets old after a while.

Just got jewed out of 300 dollars cause I needed brake pads. I just got my first car last month and I need to learn how to work on it. What essential tools should I have onhand so I can do basic mantainence and repairs?

Currently I have:
-floor jack

-oil change supplies (drainpan and whatnot)
-socket and wrench set
-ODBII reader
-lots of duct tape

Where do I start /o/?

Screwdrivers (flathead, philips, torx)
Electrical drill (doesn't have to be big, will make wheel changes, numerous small screws/bolts and such so much less time consuming)
Spark plug wrench
Torque wrenches are nice to have
Air compressor
Magnetic bowls are a godsend when you've got a lot of small screws, nuts and bolts
Multimeter
Wire stripper/crimper

a good mechanic who knows about your vehicle and money .

short of oil changes and other simple stuff the Diy approach is very risky and generally not worth the cost IMHO
