How much will it cost to get a tear in the footwell fixed? Anyone encountered this problem?
Subaru liberty 2005(legacy for you Americans i believe)

Why?

Just get a square of cut pile carpet and glue/stitch it in.
Interior carpet is one massive piece.

Anyone ever use these?
Like to get a little heat while waiting on your car to warm up?
It seems like they all get terrible reviews so I'm having a hard time finding one.
Any known good ones out there?
>>13952686
sounds like a car fire waiting to happen, i don't use one because my car heats up way too much after a few minutes of driving
>>13952896
>not wanting to get in a warm, toasty car in the morning
>>13952686
Maybe you should get a block heater and time it to get your engine toasty 30 min before you leave, then start your car and go back inside for a min, then come out to toasty car
I need some help trying to get into SCCA autocross with my s2000. Pic related, I'm the silver one with bronze rims. I'm running a test pipe, exhaust, coilovers, drilled and slotted brake rotors, lightweight flywheel, upgraded clutch and my fenders are rolled and pulled. Does this put me in Street Modified?
why dont you just ask the regulation guy in the league
drilled and slotted rotors dont mean shit
>>13952673
Thanks for letting me know they don't. That's why I'm asking
>>13952663
the modified fenders might put you in a higher class. The rest shouldn't matter.
Also depends largely on tires, and a few other things you might have left out.
How do I find a wrangler for an affordable price, guys?
You don't, you have to pay the "Its a Jeep thing" tax.
Also watch out what you buy, Jeep fags judge you based off your model.
>>13952578
You get a 4runner and have a better vehicle.
Or a land cruiser
>>13952578
What would they say about an 89-95 wrangler?
>mfw there really is no replacement for displacement
You'd have to run a 3.0 at 12,000 rpm to even get close to the power of a healthy 350...
either that or run 15lbs of boost...
How do these fancy new engines they're putting in the new corvettes make so much power? A healthy, normal engine should make 1hp/cubicinch at 6000rpm, but the new 383 LT1 makes 450+ horsepower at 6000rpm and probably even more at the crank.
What kind of witchcraft is this?
From what I've seen on forums over the years, trying to make more than 1hp/cube NA is expensive and gets expensive very fast.
50/50 chance it blows up when you start it.
I think it's the cams. the exhaust scavenging from valve overlap sucks in air through the intake like a turbo/supercharger and can make an engine have over %100 volumetric efficiency.

>12k RPM an 3.0 inline 6 to make 350hp

Poor man's Ferrari?
>>13952321
dumbest post of the day goes to
Jokes on the Ferrari owner when they're followed home, robbed and looted.
Seriously driving around showing off that much wealth is stupid. One day you'll be followed and jacked or worse. They'll make you open your house.
So the corvette is the better car. It looks like Ferrari and goes like Ferrari but you won't be killed for it.

Best used cars for $15-17k?
Looking for something a little bit newer, unless it has styling that has aged well.
Been looking for my next car for a while and I've considered everything, I'd just like some extra opinions.
At this point the BRZ is at the top of the list for me.
I really want an e46 M3 and even though I can certainly find one for $17k, It's going to be hard to find a manual coupe that's been taken care of.
I would totally get a WRX or STI but I'm having trouble finding 09+ WRX's right now, the last one I was about to go check out in person was sold. I like the old WRX's and STI's but I'd like my next car to have modernish styling.
Let me know what you guys think... everything about the BRZ is perfect except for the power obviously.
>>13952270
>BRZ
>$15-17k
Can't even get an FRS for that unless it's got a salvage title.
>I'm having trouble finding 09+ WRX's right now
Where I live, you have to drop down to 2006 for a WRX under $17K. Subarus already depreciate slowly. The hot ones even slower.
>>13952353
Damn where do you live man?
Two pristine BRZ's like 20 miles from me for exactly $17k with like 30k-40k miles.
>>13952270
you should be able to find quite a nice m3 for $17k... I would not get the BRZ.
So I'm doin some work on my buddy's motorcycle while he's gone and I read that a way to remove rust from gas tank was to put some bolts in there with like PD680 and shake the ever living fuck out of it. So I did that.
Now I can't get the bolts out of the tank. Any ideas?

Who would win in a race, Takumi or The Stig?
the stig would destroy takumi. he has way more experience than takumi while being just as naturally gifted.
>>13952095
But Takumi has plot armor.
>>13952084
what if takumi is the stig?
Why did the Personal Luxury style of car die? I know Cadillac is slowly returning to it, but it seems like no one else is. Buick, Chrysler and Lincoln aren't doing anything like it anymore, even though it would fit their lineup perfectly.
I don't know OP, but I wish they'd come back.
