Hey guys, I've come across some cash to burn and of course, as any sensible guy would, I'm spending it all on car parts. I own a 1999 E46 3 Series and i need some absolutely honest inquiries. What are the best visual modifications (non ricer)? What are the best M3 rims? Best sound system replacement? What pieces like to break on these cars?
Price is not particularly an object, but I'm not trying to overhaul the engine or anything. The car was purchased for $2,400.

So, I got scammed like an idiot buying snow tires at a used tires place.
I ended up paying $500 Cdn for used bridgestone blizzaks. They were 5 years old, with 9 out of 14 mm?? tread left.
When I got an oil change, dude said, your tires are almost at the wear bar and they will go another season maybe. He says the wear bar and age is what matters with snows. So I go back to the shop, bitch, and the guys says, for $150 more, he will put New no name snows on. This is going on a ford edge.
Am I just fucked, should I just stick with the blizzaks, or should I go with these "eternity" brand tires for the extra bit. I feel quite scammed already, so I just want to make sure I don't get even more fucked.
I hope for any advice, please, thanks.

Are you talking specifically about the Bullitt or just '05-'09 GTs in general?
They run 13s stock, can hit 12s easily with bolt-ons, tune and gears. They're a decent DD, interior quality isn't up to par with the '10+. Yes, they are fun. Yes I like them, I almost bought one.

For the price I got mine for, it's hard to beat. Picked up my 06 for 9k with 74000 on it. No problems, came with a ROUSH axle back on it that makes people think I have straight pipes. People really are surprised when there German master race machine gets beat by my American shit box. People always ask what I have in it but it's bone stock. Great little car and couldn't be happier. Next plan is a turbo and some cams.
