Hey guise

I dunno if you recall but I made a thread about head gasket replacement this week

So I have a volvo 740 that had a slight leak of cooling fluid on the head

I did the head gasket, it was apparently close to blow but the head was fine.

The intake manifold was filled with old grease (it had cholesterol), I have gained almost 10+hp doing it

anyway, I just wanted to thank you guys for your advices, she purrs like a kitten now

In about a week I will be getting a supercharger for my 5.7L manual Challenger, should be about 500whp up from ~320. Anyone have a "relearning" period on their car after a decent power bump, avoiding wheel slippage and such? As it stands now when it rains pretty much touching the gas when taking off will cause minor slipping (summer tires), I am guessing that will persist through all the gears with boost.

theres a reason DD's don't tend to have 500 hp, just fyi. you'll have to be super gentle on the throttle.

also, summer tires should normally be better than all-seasons in rain

I have around 50 scrap vehicles, 150 scrap auto batteries, 50 catalytic converters, 100 aluminum rims, I had been attempting to run a salvage parts business the last few years but I never could keep enough money to buy more inventory and never sold enough parts to make it worth while, the scrap metal market has went to hell the last few months so simply crushing them isn't an option right now...I have been trying to figure out what type of business I could squeeze out of what I have already...any ideals would be great.
