What are the worst cars ever made and why?
Bonus points for creative answers, it's easy to just list every smog era American car that was ever made.
It doesn't just have to be cars that are dynamically bad either, they could represent the beginning of a terrible trend in the automotive industry, be intensely bland and soulless or you just straight up hate them.
Any euro car ever
Every jap car ever
Every us car
good thread you fucking faggot
>>14089364
Any Ford, merc, bmw, gm, Nissan, Subaru, FCA...
Let me simplify this
Anything that's not a Toyota, Mazda or honda
The official car of idiotic wives, and on top of that it's awful.
Aston Martin is offering a seat for anyone aged 16 to 25 to compete to race for them at LeMans.

I'm learning how to drive manual tomorrow. Is a few days worth of practice good?
>>14088861
if a faggot playing gt6 and getting dropped in a million dollar car just because he had the fastest lap time on the game can do it
you should be able to do it.

Does /o/ ever dream of owning multiple of the same car?
Running or not?
I often dream of having multiple corollas. Some for play. Some for DD. Some for parts. Some for testing weird things. Some to cut in half and drive around. Some to cut into a truck.
Oh the fun that could be had.
>>14088232
I live the dream. It's alright. I got a '95 Accord sedan(autotragic) as a gift from my mom when I was 16, and I bought a '94 Accord wagon with an incredibly rare factory 5spd this last summer.
I plan on selling the sedan, I loved it to death but the wagon has more versatility and thats what I care about right now. And the automatic trans will die eventually and Manuel will live to be an old man.
>>14088359
Good ol' Manuel.
He's a good fella. I hope he stays around for a long time.
I have 2 of the same trucks does that count?
wat is it?
U joint cap? flip it over.
A bung for manhole cover for the gas storage under the gas station.
What are the benefits of using a jet drive over an outboard motor?
Advantages, disadvantages, etc
Outboard motor installation is obviously simpler.
But would it be worth it to plan for using a jet drive if you're building a boat?
I'm asking here because it's a mechanical question.
I've been looking into boat building. Kinda neat. All kinds of sweet plans out there. Yay, sailing!
Sailing isn't very /o/ though. And I'm not patient enough to be content with not having something under the hood.
An outboard motor just doesn't do it justice.
Here is that catamaran, unfolded and sitting in the water.
I was thinking a jet drive, kinda like what you'd see in two seater jet skis, would be nice to put in the hulls.
I'm just wondering if it would be more efficient than outboard motors, otherwise it's not worth the trouble.
I see huge boats with tiny 25hp motors, and they only carry a couple dozen gallons.... it just doesn't feel adequate.
>>14087968
Nab a pair of Seadoos and somehow bolt their hulls into your cat,
Then slap on some hydrofoils to get that heavy front out of the water.
Now you are James Bond

That is a fantastic commercial.
let's have a talk about winter tires
>do you use winter tires or all season ones in winter?
>experiences and opinions about specific winter tires?
>funny stories about not having winter tires where you probably should have?
question: does anyone have experiences with nokian wr d4? I'm thinking of buying a set, I need new winter tires
>>14087767
Nokians are probably the best. If you get icy conditions and can legally use studded. Do.
Hankook I pikes are my second choice .
>>14087826
I can't get studded ones sadly
>Nokians are probably the best.
are all of them good or only the more expensive ones?
I'm considering pic related, they are 65€
>>14087767
I have winter and summer tires. Winter tires really are the best option for driving in winter. All season tires are mediocre at everything. Its an extra up front cost, but fuck do i love being a bit more confident in inclimate weather.
sup /o/
What car would you buy if you had $30k max to spend?
BMW Z3 M would probably be worth a very thorough consideration in such a scenario.
>>14086534
29,999 bus fare
1$ tip to dinner
I'd buy a really nice motorcycle. You can't buy a very nice car for that cheap.
PLEASE BE REAL

/o/ is just going to whine about it and throw tantrums like they did when the FR-S came out.
That's a render you fuccboi
>bought a used car
>it smells stale/a little dank
Not like anything in particular, but it's not pleasant either. How do I get it out, /o/?

It's probably fecal matter in the seats.
Steam clean them

Best 2000-2005 manual car for a new driver?
Coupe, sedan, wagon does not matter
180 HP minimum
Gas mileage of around 20 city would be awesome
Price: 9k or lower. The lower the better.
Live in florida so rust isn't an issue.
>>14085474
RSX type S
Altima spec-v SER
4 doors more whores
180hp
6speeds for more mpgs
Con is fwd but it handles surprisingly well stock.
RSX non-type-S 5-speed.
Pic related, my first car. I had lots of fun with it. Going catless (no tune) took 1.2 sec off my 1/4-mile times lol. I used to break 130mph going to high school to wake myself up lol. I sold it for an STi though in 2007 and rarely look back.
When was the last time a car was equipped from the factory with suicide doors? Was it the RX-8?
Are there safety standards that outlaw them now or something?
Extended cab trucks still have em but for cars I remember Saturn had them too
Ford trucks still have it
>>14085322
Lol, wikipedia actually has a list:
