Seriously wondering what type of car I could afford. I'm really into the Porsche 944, but I also like other old cars like BMW's and Volvo 850R for example.
I'm a citizen of the Europoor provence named The Netherlands.
Currently:
Living: With parents
Bank: €62.200
Car: None
Net income: €1.750 (€2.150 gross)
Will I ever be able to afford my dream car, the Porsche 944? It doesn't make financial sense to buy one. I need around €185.000 for a tiny home, or better €200.000.
Currently the highest mortgage I can get is around €100.000, at least I think so, using the calculators on the internet.
Really wondering about your opinions and experiences.

Having trouble deciding on a new car - Thought, maybe just go out and buy a bad ass muscle car, you know, treat myself to something nice for once. So I go to the local Ford place, and sit in one. The interior is the cheapest shit I've ever seen. The interior of my 2001 Sentra is better made. I mean, the rolling knobs on the dash are wobbly, the rocker switched are loose, the dials are hard plastic. Everything feels cheap to touch and feel, and looks like a cheap kids toy that was made in China. Ford, are you fucking kidding me? And has the Automotive press even said anything?

Chen studies automotive engineering at the South China Agricultural University (web), but plans to drop out soon to focus completely and solely on car design. He started working on the Xiaohuohua in late 2014, and spend a grand total of 30.000 yuan or 4740 US dollar to design and build it.
He was helped by his father who has a company making fibre-reinforced plastics (FRB), which is the material where the car is made from. Chen did the molding and modelling by himself. He bough the other parts he needed on the internet.

Anyone else pissed off at Ford GT? It has a v6tt rather than their new flat plane crank v8, the price is ridiculous (400k) and only 250 will be made per year.
Both the v6tt and v8 meet le mans standards, but former has more horsepower and probably torque. That's the reasonable argument as to why they would use it, but is it worth the boomer nostalgia and the sound?

It isn't worth the boomer nostalgia and sound, especially since they would have to spend a considerable amount of money getting that flat plane crank v8 up to the same R&D levels as the V6TT that already has proven itself in endurance series for a good while now.
I wish it got the V8, but the V6TT is clearly the more sound choice, and allowed them to put more money into developing other portions of the car. (Like its unibody composition and what not.)

I give a buddy a ride and don't charge him for gas. He orders a pizza later in the week and covers it on his own. And so forth.

I am in the process of doing an engine swap on one of my classic minis. I done alot of research and decided on the toyota 4efte engine. Problem is i recently done more research and found people take the 4agze and swop the supercharger out for a turbo. I just cant decide which way to go so I was hoping someone whose had experience with these motors might be able to sway me one way or the other. Im aiming for 200whp/150wkw.
