Just started reading up on the rotaries (just started getting into cars in general I guess)
They're pretty interesting, but one thing I haven't found answered is the lack of torque in a rotary engine. Apparently any semblance of torque and (to a lesser extent) power is towards the upper RPM range.
Why?
I was reading about it in context of the RX-7 FD so I may have misinterpreted it and it may be purely because of the FD's sequential turbo setup, but it seemed to imply that it was a trait inherent in all Wankel rotaries.
Why is that?

I need y'alls help. I refurbished the carb a few months back, never drove it after I replaced it. Now I have a problem. The throttle pedal accelerates the truck, but it doesn't return back. any idea what I can do? or where to look? I think it is an Autolite 1100-1V on my ford 300ci I6. Thanks!
