It starts today and since Loeb drives a Peugeot I will probably follow this edition. Anyone else interested?
>>14156103
What ways are there to follow it?
>>14156129
Depends on where you live I guess. In France you have a 30 or 60 minutes sum-up every day on public TV.
Post em if you got em boys
Post interior.
I can't help but I laugh at FFfags when I drive my altezza

Upload your submissions to the provided Google Drive and post the name of the uploaded file in this thread. You can also record your car revving.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_vAGzPOShuLdmpWV2dSelBKS00
Keep your recording on your computer in case it gets accidentally deleted from the Google Drive. I will also collect new submissions regularly.
I'll see how often new submissions pop up but I guess 10 will be enough to make a compilation. There is no set deadline, but I hope to finish after the coming weekend.
Let's make this happen boys
yeet, ill see when i can record

The initial d opening is kinda ass compared to the end song. I feel like that should be up there instead

It doesn't matter now
Any Land Rover owners on /o/?
I've been reading up on Land Rover Discovery's (forums) lately as I have been thinking about purchasing one even though I've heard about how terrible their electronics are.
I live in New England and I'm in need of a car or better yet an SUV.
I just found this and I was wondering if I'm making a mistake. I don't plan on keeping it for long and I can do a lot of the work of myself, also there is a small land rover shop in my town if there is something that went drastically wrong with.
So what do you think br/o/s?

>>14158681
Don't bother.
I drive a 2016 Range Rover Sport and have owned lots of Land Rovers.
Don't get the older ones, the electronics on them are terrible. The newer ones are great though, just had a few oddball issues with my last one and this one.
If it isn't your daily driver and you don't mind working on it, they are fun cars though. Like driving a tank.
>>14158687
elaborate?
>>14158712
its going to be daily drive and I dont mind working on it.
Id love to get a 2016 Range Rover but I'm a broke community college student.
What's the best credit union for a new/used car loan o?
Most of us don't have 5-25 grand on us for the vehicle we want, but in imo I believe a cu loan would really help a lot of us finally own the cars we want (within reason).
dunno senpai, i went to school and don't sound like a retard desu
Mac. They loan to anyone. Female friend in her early 20s with shit employment history got a new ford Mexican party through them
>>14164588
Don't you want people on o to become respectable car enthusiasts?
>literally THE most successful touring car in the history of touring car racing
>has yet to be beaten for most wins in a season
>over rated
daily reminder to block matt farah, drive, and jalopnik from your various internet feeds.
Who said that it's overrated?
dat m3 tho
>>14162508
The listed people.
Hipsters.
The E30 M3 was a marvel during its time.
What are cars that /o/ unanimously hates?
Pic related
Pic not related dude what the fuck
All ff cars
Or as I call them
Wrong wheel drive ""cars""
anyone else here gotten so desperate they're considering buying a truck because rwd
cheap rwd platforms are so hard to find in my area that i'd honestly consider buying a truck
im american though so no ute
are there any trucks that are basically sports cars
trucks that are like inasharu d tuner cars?
any poorfag trucks that fit this category?
Short wheelbase
lightweight
decent suspension
manual tranny
pretty good handling
relatively good stock engine
quick, n nimble, n fast
to be honest i dont even care that much how well it performs actual truck duties or off roading
i mean its either this, wait several months to find an s chassis or list a supra/newer 300zx for reasonable prices, or settle for a civic, integra, or prelude
probably just a pipe dream but ill throw it out there for some touge/circuit trucks that can run in the 90s with the best of them
>>14161424
>I'm american so no ute
What are the Ranchero and El Camino for $500, Alex?
>>14161431
>not knowing they know what they have
But seriously, they're getting thin on the ground.

S10 extreme, GMC cyclone, Toyota tacoma sport, Ford Ranger sport
My dad is deciding his everyday car. He wants the S coupe but I kinda want him to get the AMG GT S so he's considering that
thoughts?
911 C4S, with or without PDK
i think your a lieing cunt and fuck you
The S-Class Coupe is gorgeous and frankly, more luxurious than the AMG GT.
Why would you make him get a GT car with less room and a more harsh ride? WTF are you doing anon?
>2016 V6 Mustang
>22,000
>2016 V6 Camaro
>28,000
>mfw I hate ford but I am not forking out another 6k for a camaro and I guess that means I am getting a mustang.
>inb4 ooga booga where da v8 at?
Then fork out another 6k and get the Ford Horsecock V8
>>14160469
>inb4 ooga booga where da v8 at?
It's a valid fucking question m8, you buy these cars for the V8 or turbo-4 versions. The v6s are rental-car tier. Are you also going to be getting an automatic transmission and a convertible top?
>>14160469
>ooga booga
You're the nigger wanting a v6
What does o think of the Toyota Cappuccino 124 Abarth?
Needs sea monster lexus grill
then it will be perfect
Is it k-car? And why is my dick hard sprung?
This is actually what the designers wanted but couldn't get past the regulation dudes
What is it about these cars that look so cheap? They are underwhelming and bland, but they technically shouldn't be? Something is just off, they remind of chinese type cars.
plastic and contemporary styling. also jews
yeh nah
They're more expensive looking than Aston Martins.
>>14159544
I mean the front end looks like a late 90s early 2000s front of a car if you block the rest of the car with your hand. Then everything has nothing particular about it. It looks so bland in every way.
It's the year 203X and combustion engines have been outlawed in the name of progressiveness, but you're a badass so you decide not to give a shit and a hide a car in your barn for illegal night runs over deserted countryside roads. What is your weapon of choice?
Remember that maintenance and spare parts will be a legal grey zone, you will need to source and potentially refine your own scarce bioethanol or biodiesel, and that you may have to flee from the police.
Foxbody
>>14158929
>being a future boomer
>owning a fuel burner in an era when the former advantages are likely gone or meager at best
But why senpai
>>14158929
I'd just drive a slightly sporty but sensible and affordable electric econobox. Like whatever Toyota or Honda bring out to fill the Corolla/Civic niche. Or a Tesla 3.
Why does this exist, apart from making tree hugger boomers who have never owned cars themselves, happy?
That's exactly why. So that carbon producing monsters can still be made.
>EU Regulation No 443/2009 sets an average CO2 emissions target for new passenger cars of 130 grams per kilometre. The target is gradually being phased in between 2012 and 2015. A target of 95 grams per kilometre will apply from 2021.
fuck this world
>>14158415
So people don't get cancer.
What is the car culture like where you are from?
UK here:
we have a mixture of young guys in euro hatches who tint the windows, throw some bbs wheels on and park outside McDonalds.
we also have old men in tweed clothing driving lightweight old sports cars up hills.
and in London everyone has a wrapped supercar.
>>14157002
I live in Maryland and the car culture is crazy varied.
My boss drives a GT3 RS, coworker has a Boss 302, GTR, C5 FRC, and a Ford Lightning, I regularly see Maseratis, Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches, crazy Mercs, and all sorts of shit. Exotics are common here. But Maryland is a shit wad of a state and can burn in hell with all the fur fags and Muslims.
Germany here.
Young lower class folk buy old VWs and Opels and put fartcans and huge subwoofers in them and hoon them around town at night or park in front of McDonalds.
Some people obsess over Autobahn rockets, the most recklessly speeding, tailgating cars on the Autobahn will without an exception be souped up BMWs and Audi station wagons.
Amateur racing mostly consists of clubslalom (autocross) in parking lots and motocross on dedicated dirt tracks.
Apparently there's a tarmac hill climb scene in southern Germany where there are more mountainous roads.
Sadly we don't have much of a track racing culture, especially not compared to the UK because they had tons of useless airfields they could repurpose after WW2, ours were all bombed to shit and it's insanely hard to get approval for new tracks because of environmental regulations and noise ordinances and so on.
>>14157002
What kind of car is that in OPs pic?
Also, to answer your question, car culture around me is boomers going to car shows and cruise ins, three drag strip within an hour of me, several saturday night dirt tracks, every county fair has a mud bog, truck drag, demolition derby, a couple ORV parks and I also live an hour from the Indianapolis motor speedway and all the automotive and racing businesses surrounding it.
