Weld the headers to the turbo, weld other end of turbo to intake, drill hole into oil pan for return line, get a turbo hose kit, connect one line to oil pressure sender, other hose to the hole you drilled. Crack open a beer.

Step 1: Remove the engine from the assembly.
Step 2: Throw it on a scrap heap
Why bother spending money doing the entire turbo conversion when the engine is just going to end up there anyways.

I'm a Father of two kids. Currently I drive a 2013 Genesis Coupe 2.0T, and not having for doors is getting to be a real pain in the dick. We just came back from the beach, and the amount of sand (and the difficulty of cleaning it), as well as the getting in and out was abysmal. What's a good comprise of switching over to a sedan? I'm not willing to give up the speed, but I'm ready to save up. Test drove a Jeep Wrangler the other day, and hated it.

Then yesterday I nearly ran some dipshit over because I tried passing a car that had stopped to let them pass (I didn't see them just thought they randomly stopped)

Not just Toyota, none of the Japanese manufacturers like giving us any of the actually good products, they almost always only sell us boring normie-tier breadwinners like the Altima or Camry. Most of the sporty/fast things they do sell here are dumbed down from the JDM version.
Im deciding between an e46 330ci and an e36 325is/328is. I have 5-6k. Which will I enjoy more? I keep hear the e36 is more of a drivers car which is what really interests me, but the newer interior, looks and safety features is drawing me into the e46. I had an e30 which I loved but wrecked and am looking at the newer generations.

See, this is a question of looking like a freak vs looking like a man who had lost all hope. I cannot resolve this dilemma.
Is there any meaningful difference between performance winter tires and studless/studable winter tires?
My dad told me I can take his Dinan supercharged BMW M3 he never drives if I can get it running. It’s in decent shape, the exterior is badly faded and some glued-on panels in the interior are coming off but the mechanicals should be in good shape. It only has 77K miles on the odometer and the supercharger was rebuilt about 7 years ago but only 5K miles have been put on it.
He said last time he drove it, it ran really rough and he could smell gasoline, so that should be interesting, hopefully it’s a simple fix. I know it’ll need tires though, as the tires on it are the ones I put on it in high school back in 2004.
Anyway I’m only posting asking if it’s worth the extra money to get a set of performance winter tires or is it all marketing? On Tirerack for example, I’ve priced a set of 225/50R16 Firestone Winterforce studable tires with a cheap set of wheels for winter for only $80 more than a set of Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 in the OEM size of 225/45R17.

having owned ans60 and s60r i highly recommend the s60r, finding a manual is hard as fuck though, and the T5 is still faster but R model is just cool, basic pretty high quality interior, just make sure to replace all the dried door seals.

I can understand when down shifting.. But he was driving a fwd/awd eclipse. If it was 500hp+ with nos etc it should've had straight cut gears and could've just been flat shifted. Or was vin implying the shitty stock glass gearbox of the eclipse needed to be double shifted to withstand the ridiculous drivetrain shock it was recieving.
