I know the TFTF is normally looked down upon, because a lot of non car people see it and think they're Poor Walker in his 10 second poopra. But is it that bad? I've never watched it and kinda wanna watch some car porn.
FNF is great. All your friends watch it. Laugh at the bullshit and develop personal jokes along the way. Enjoy the car porn meanwhile. Quote the movie in real life. Do you hate fun OP?

You might as well, they aren't masterpieces but they are some fun mindless action.
I honestly thought it peaked at five though, it becomes less about cars and more about the action in the later movies however.
Personally I've always thought they were ugly. They like koi.

WAKE UP NEETS

Warm it up before he comes around
Is driving a truck hard (or harder than driving any other form of car)?
I want to buy one once I move to the US and since I want to assimilate properly I was wondering if the difference is big or not.
fuck off we're full
You have to take turns into side streets and parking lots at lower speed because of the higher center of gravity, but other than that it's the exact same as driving a car, especially on American roads. If anything, modern trucks are more comfortable than most cars because of their big tires, long suspension and long wheelbase.

Do you want me to give you the entire story to trigger you even further?
So i'm a former victorian living in the states now and thankfully BASED TEXAS is not a nanny state at all.
Last time i left australia, vicpol was doing the whole lie about the skid at the lights and get a bribe from the poor victim thing, is that still going on?
It seems my aussie brothers are still subject to the crazy hoon laws still, in which case i advise you to consider moving to texas. It's a heaven here, seriously.
>No corrupt cops abusing the hoon laws to make regular non hoons pay "on the spot fines"
>No retardedly concieved laws that only made it more dangerous as the real hoons now have no choice but to run red lights and do dangerous shit or they lose their car
>Great car scene, loads of tracks too
>Cops won't be an asshole if you're speeding a little above, they understand shit happens
>No hidden speed traps waiting to fine you hundreds for going 3km/h over
Seriously, why the fuck would you want to live in that hellhole?
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/law-order/victorias-police-chief-graham-ashton-caught-speeding/news-story/88f22d0f2c2c8f9ad27b799c711a91f7?nk=b3f65d15cb3c52d966eb0adaf9ce2a68-1452257219
Look at this, the top cop himself was speeding and now has to try and spin it like he's a monster, even though we all know EVERYONE FUCKING GETS A LITTLE ABOVE THE SPEED LIMIT.
>>14196434
When did you leave?
Not only are the cops still corrupt as fuck (I got fined last month, had to pay on the spot, i know for a fact i did not do a skid at the lights, i saw the cop car behind me and i'm not fucking dumb) but the speed trap thing is out of fucking control.
Oh and modifying your car is still seen as being equivalent to being a pedophile here.
Makes you an evil street racer that wants to mow down kids, thanks to the media scare campaign.
It's gotten worse since you left and thanks for linking that article, i had a great fucking kek.
Perfectly highlights how our cops think they're above the law, while being strict fucking assholes and not giving us any leeway when it's a victimless crime.
>>14196434
>vicpol was doing the whole lie about the skid at the lights and get a bribe from the poor victim thing, is that still going on?
Can confirm they're doing this and have also branched out into the following.
>"Estimating" people's speed (there's a video of this)
>Changing the speed limit on bell street to 60 (it's been 70 for years) and then setting up HUNDREDS of cameras to get every single motorist who drives it at 70 because habits.
>Still corrupt as ever, cops have been caught drink driving, speeding and manage to get away without punishment
>The whole bribe thing's still going on, if you're a hoon and get caught you're going to pay 100% cause you know it's the better option, plus they occasionally target tradies since they are fucked if they lose their ute for work.
It's actually quite brilliant. No-one's ever going to snitch on the cops taking bribes since if the cops chose to lie, they could have the person's car impounded for a month, guilty until proven innocent. You won't get a court date until months later, so you're already fucked.
Everyone pays the bribe and is thankful they got a corrupt copper instead of a self-righteous female copper (these are the worst).

Is Drifting..."Shit"?
So I've been around the internet hashing it out with every kind of enthusiast out there for some time now. One topic that frequently arises is Drifting and my thoughts on drifting are quite different from the masses.
Firstly I think drifting is stupid. I think it's slow, pointless, and if I'm honest I think anyone can not only learn to drift but learn to drift quickly and accurately. Actual talent seems to be lacking here.
Secondly I feel that most people in the drift scene, admiring it, or desire to become part of it are all ignorant, dumbasses who have no appreciation for engineering and how hard it is to produce a car that properly goes round a corner! Watching these people actually spend money to undo this really gets under my skin for a multitude of reasons.
Finally is it just me or do drifters actively seek cars that should be readily available for cheap to destroy? Datsun 510's used to be cheap buys, the 240sx and AE86 were all cheap until Fast and Furious TD came out. Now a 200SX is a hard car to find because hipsters are looking for glory on their local tracks. As we all know as soon as drifting is no longer a "thing" these drifters will move onto something that's more popular and easy to deify themselves by participating in. Basically I feel like the entire drift scene is comprised of posers with no real passion, intellect, or authenticity. I feel that they're all just idiots who like loud noises and explosions.
So my question is "Am I just an asshole for feeling this way??" Are my reasons just me projecting my own ignorance onto others when it comes to the drift scene? Even watching Ken Blocks Gymkahna videos have lost all of their "instant replay" magic and i find myself asking "wtf?" the entire time.
Chime in! I'd like to stop wanting to stab anyone who appreciates drifting in the neck with a piece of their own battered cars.
It's fun
I like it
Every form of racing o sport in general has a ignorant dumbasses for fans. All of them
>>14196063
>Firstly I think drifting is stupid. I think it's slow, pointless
Personal Opinion
Only if you are shit
Yes
If you don't like it cool, if you do cool. I used to get out and do it as much as I could, I found it fun as hell but hey, thats me.
